im just curious dahil hanggang ngayon zoom 707 pa rin ang gamit nya. whats the secret behind zoom 707?

I even watch a concert of APO hiking society, when i look at the gear of the guitarist(not kelly badon) of the APO band zoom 707 din nakita ko.

Yep, actually, 2 versions sya, 707 I and 707 II, pero alam ko parehong plastic din

Isang malaking factor eh yung pagka HANDY ng 707. dahil Working Musician yang mga yan eh mas gusto nila yung madaling bitbitin sa gig lalo na kapag madalian o ilang kanta lang yung gagawin nila.

As for the tone, siguro yun yung shoot sa panlasa nya.

I still have my Zoom707II (but my cousin still uses it)...bought it since 2002.
No issues with it.
Wanted to sell it for an upgrade, but there were no takers.
So I said to him, to keep it & i'll get it from him when I get back.

I really liked its modulated clean tones & the distortion as well, maganda output sa record.
& my cousin likes it too, as mentioned, madaling bitbitin.

When I would gig again, i'll just add it to my setup.

yeah i would affirm too.. the 707 has a decent modulation. i could recall one time when we were having a youth camp few years ago.. several guitarist on the other churches would inquire if what's my multi/rig. and they would say "ah zoom 707 lang pala."

ako may 707II pa ako sa bahay.. pair mo ng Jeckyl/Hyde or OD-20 oks ka na.. 
nawawala na yung isang knob nun pero hataw pa rin.. di nasisira.

anggaan pa.. lagay mo sa gigbag kasama ng gitara yung weight lang ng gitara ang
mararamdaman mo.

di ko na ibebenta yun.. (kasi wala naman ding bibili hehehe)

nung nakita ko ung 707 nya sabi ko sa sarili ko 'kaya pala ganon yung overdriven tone nya'. i dunno kung ako lang un pero, di nyo ba pansin na ang tinis ng timpla nya lagi? taste lang siguro pero nanginiglabot ako parang 2 tinidor na pinag-kikiskisan.

pero maayos ang zoom (wag lang ung 505 hehehe). ung GFX5 ko pinapagamit ko sa pamangkin ko, maayos, hinahanap hanap ko over the GT8 i use to have.

I had a Zoom 707II before

And for me, the plus factor is you can pre select the patches before you use them unlike the Zoom G2.1ut. Bad trip nga  binenta ko yung 707II ko to get a G2.1ut. Akala ko upgrade ang ginawa ko, nagsisi lang ako. Binenta ko na din yung G2.1ut mag analog na lang ako

My very 1st zoom fx was 2020 plastic din sya, pero made in japan. Kung di lng na sira power supply nun,  malamang gamit ko parin yun. Next was GFX3, compact and hardmetal casing. Kaya lng masyado makitid mga stomp switch, naaapakan ko dalawa switch, kaya nalilipat s ibang patch. Then comes G7.1ut which now i love.

very reliable yun and it comes down to tweaking,, but my comment for it the dirt sounds arent that warm enough compared to the MOD and a lil bit of delay that the zoom 707 has
yes it is made of plastic i broke my tact switch on the bank up/down 3 times
