sir,may nakita na akong sabian brand sa isang perfect pitch store..nakalimutan ko lang kung saan...

mas sikat kasi talaga ang Zildjian kesa sa Sabian.

salamat po...

el sabor is intended for the latin pop genre, but as i said before, cymbals are nice way to experiment sounds on our drumming, so try to use this for other genres also

well i think zildjian and sabian are on the same place,..

, man i remember those times that im still handling sabian here and excites me whwnever they have a new model to offer and i always bring them in here in our country...

kanina dumaan ako sa perfect pitch park square and i have heard the APX solid crash 18" and WOW it's really loud and cuts through. Kelangan talagang gumamit ng ear protection dito kasi sobrang nakakabingi talaga cya. The "solid crash" has a lower pitch than the "crash", mas trip ko ung solid. It has a cool finish also. However, babagay lang ata cya sa loud playing music like rock or metal.

isyu talaga ng perfect pitch recently ang panget na pagpili ng mga items na isastock nila. yung mga "unique" models tulad ng o-zone at chopper meron sila, kaso mga bestselling models wala... o kaya kung meron man, 16" (pag crash) at 20" (pag ride) lang ang size na meron.

sige, meron silang ilang 18" (HH Dark, AAX Stage, Sig Saturation)... kaso ang AAXplosion, HHXplosion, HHXtreme, AAX Dark, HHX Stage, Vault (puro bestseller, by the way), lahat walang 18" or wala AT ALL!

Mga sirs, kung gusto nyo magpabili ng good cymbals na wala dito sa manila hanapin nyo si captainsatch dito sa philmusic, sya ang bumili sa 18 AAXplosion ko sa USA mismo. byahe sya dun twice/thrice a month.

AAX plosion 18 inch crash = P10500. thats $225 plus tax times P43(yung P43=$1 pa) =$245. plus binigyan ko pa tip si Javy(Captainsatch). Mura na to. considering against the high price perfect pitch. Procedure is to check guitarcenter.com for the item and the price. then ask captainsatch if he can get it for you. may konting dagdag lang sya for carrier's fee. pero sulit mura mura pa rin. Magpabili pa nga ako ulit ng AAX stage hihats and ozone crash sa kanya pa complete line nko for my studio.

Hi guys! Has anyone ever used the Max Stax cymbals by Mike Portnoy? If yes available ba sya sa local market natin?

Saka has anyone of you improvised a set of 2 cymbals to mimic the Max Stax? Kasi I'm planning to buy those stax along with my new kit pag nagka-budget na ako.

If hindi sya available satin I'm planning to improvise a cymbal-sandwich to make a stax, any suggestions for cymbal combinations?

may nakita ako sa cubao brach dati at moa inabot ng 13k yung isang set ng maxstaxx.

improvise na lang, same result din naman ata na parang choked...

yung akin eh 12in zildjian trash with 12inKsplash... works fine

well for me.
also a 16in oriental with 10HHXsplash (pailalim lang yung splash para mas pabor yung china sound at hindi masyadong choked)
meron din yata akong nabasa dito na parang stagg SH china with Sh splash.

17" tsaka 19" lang. tsaka never ako nakakita at pag tinatanong ko kung pwede ba ipatransfer sa store na malapit sa amin para subukan, lahat sila napapa-"ehh" na lang.

hhxtreme din daw, meron 18". same as above yung availability.

para sa stax, mas gusto ko tunog pag mas malaki yung china, mounted bell down, tapos yung mas maliit na splash bell down din sa loob ng flange (parang ganito). 14" china + 8" splash ang okay na sizes.

ang mahirap lang sa "improvised"...you have to experiment which cymbal goes well with what cymbal and how different will it sound against another combo...

borrowing from fellow drummer friends will help with the matching before the buying to save money...

..or the easier way is too look for the stack. subok na. Sabian and Mike has done it for you, no more matching, unless you're after a different sound.

wala atang AA Chinese bossing eh..

but you can visit www.yupangco.com to find out the price of the medium crash..pero alam ko hindi na updated yung site..so baka merong stock pero wala sa site. but its gonna be close to whatever price or the same for any 16" AA or AAX cymbal na makikita mo doon.
