 This is my recent set-up:

 AAX 14" Stage Hi-hat

 AAX 16" Plosion Crash

 AAX 20" Stage Ride

 AAX  8" Splash

Pero ano kaya sa AAX line ang bagay? stage b o studio or other? and what size?

 Tips naman po. Salamat.  :-D

Minsan ready na yung cash mo, after 6 months pa dadating yung cymbals.

Sana pwde itry with drum kit. sana.  :-D

The Chopper

The Chopper is an innovative multi-application percussion effect that delivers quick, tightly focused white noise accents and rhythms. Comprised of three bronze discs—two of which are cut into propeller-like shapes—riveted loosely together, the Chopper is a totally new playing experience for drummers and percussionist. When played, the three discs agitate each other and produce the uniquely raw sound that proved so popular on recent Sabian Vault Tour dates, according to Wayne Blanchard, Sabian's senior marketing manager.

"The Chopper looks simple, but this is a very complex instrument designed to play accents and rhythms with equal effect," continued Blanchard. "It does this through a combination of etched surfaces and a special die-cut design that lets the three discs vibrate and agitate together; creating the short burst of white noise that makes the Chopper so special."

Already the choice of Mike Portnoy, Will Calhoun, and Rodney Howard, the Chopper fits comfortably on stands in any drum or percussion set-up. A Chopper can also add a distinctly different flavor when used in place of an X-hat, or laid on a snare drum to create a funky techno-type slap. The Chopper, available in 8-, 10- and 12-inch sizes, is quality protected by the One-Year Sabian Warranty.

Alu Bells

Available in 7- and 9-inch sizes, the 'Alu Bell' features a dome shape and narrow striking edge. According to Sabian cymbal specialist David Williams, not only does aluminum create a clear and musical bell-like response, it is very light in weight, which contributes to its ability to produce long, sustaining notes.

"'Alu Bells' were a consistent best seller on the Sabian Vault Tours," continued Williams. "When some of our major players heard them there was no stopping the concept. Everyone, whether playing latin, jazz, or hard rock, was quick to see the potential and the requests began to roll in. That demand prompted this introduction."

so... walang American made na Sabian. North American meron ( :-P), kaso American as in U.S.A., wala.

Ganun ba? thanks for the info bro plep

but it makes me wonder about the stocks @ p. pitch

same finish size series etc. different quality in terms of sound and anyone can distinguish them :o

we tried 2 stage hats both with the same finish, our friend purchased one (aax stage cymbal pack) and the sound is waay different  :-o

I had a dilemma of either ordering online or purchase from them  :?

(2) AA = traditional wide groove lathing (malapad yung tonal grooves), AAX = pinpoint lathing

(1) HH = traditional small peen HAND hammering, HHX = large peen human-directed machine hammering
(2) HH = wide groove lathing , HHX = pinpoint lathing

sino na sa inyo nkakita ng bagong products ng sabian? how would you compare the 21" AA raw bell dry ride to the new 21" AAX raw bell dry ride? 8-)

comments din bout their 11" Alu bells and the 15" APX Solid Hats. Padamihin pa ang products para maraming options! :-D
