ang ano ko lang yng sh b20 yung b8, b8 lang sya...
ang ano lang may nakita pa ako sa classified na stagg na may butas s gitna kasi nag ka crack daw kaya pina butasan na lang nya para hindi tumuloy...

sakya yung sh cast yung b8 sheet...

May nagsabi na isang endorser ng Sabian na unbreakable daw ang Sabian Cymabls... Comment about this? Meron na ba kayong nakitang Sabian na napunit?

Well its not unbreakable. Of course merong mga Sabian cymbals na napupunit lalo na kung misuse or hindi maayos ang pagaalaga, and sa part ko meron ako nakita (but so minimal). Hindi naman super cymbals and Sabian...But of course hindi naman magtatagal ang Sabian business kung hindi maganda at maayos ang products nila.

breakable yan... personally naka sira nako ng (2) Sabian AA medium thin crash (parehong pareho ang location and itsura ng damage), at first di ko mahanap ang culprit, I'm no hard hitter, and super alaga ang cymbals ko. Then read somewhere (forgot the forum, drummerworld ata or sa sabian) na may possibility na sa drumsticks. I tried changing sticks, voila.... my 3rd AA medium thin crash is still my main crash for 4 years na and still counting.

so there... for me lahat ng cymbals is breakable, depende sa contributing factors.

mga sir, ano po take niyo sa 18" Xs20 Med-Thin Crash?

I recently acquired this cymbal a few weeks back(thanks sir homer!) and so far I'm loving its warm crash sound. sa mga nakagamit na nito, san siya pinakamaayos gamitin? ok lang ba i-crashride tong cymbal na to? natatakot din kasi ako baka masira, hindi naman din po ako heavy hitter pero kinakabahan din po ako. nakakatrauma na yung magcrack ang isang cymbal after mong pag-ipunan ng matagal.

I have this crash! Same size rin.

Tama bro, yung warmth nya ang best asset sonically. It's also rather low in pitch kaya ang gandang complement sa other crashes. I don't like it as a crash ride kasi kulang na kulang sa ping yung bow and edge, pero the bell is usable naman. As for durability, it's one solid crash! Ito ang pinaka-abused sa crashes ko kasi I love timekeeping with it. Very "playable" kasi.

imo, the best starter set out there.

okay ang B8's kasi pasok narin to sa mga cymbals na pang-gig. I used them years ago sa isang gig and maayos yung tunog.

HiHat - medyo mataas yung pitch, pero maayos naman yung tunog, depends sayo kung trip mo yung high pitch factor niya.
Ride - meh. mas trip ko Ride ng ZBT (Zildjian equivalent ng Sabian B8's). crashable? yeah, okay lang din, pero not that much.

As for any starter set, pag tumagal magcracrave ka pa ng higher-end models, B8's aren't an exception imho.
