ALL compressors ALTER your tone. that's why i never was big into those things. if you can live with this "coloration" of your tone, then good for you. I can't. Same reason why is stay away from multifxs as much as i can. Having a few stompboxes and good patch cables so far has not been able to color my tone that much that i can live with it.  But again, if i can have a dynacomp cheap, i wouldn't mind getting one to toy with it.

uhmmm....parang booster sa od.. nkakasustain.. ..tpos rinig pag nag pinch.. pero kpag ndi nag-play, tahimik naman kng knti.. hehehe..
actually once palang ako nkatry ng comp e.. cs-3.. mdyo naingayan ako.. tpos mdyo basa ng reviews.. kya bka mkaganda to pang lead.. whehehe..
..super newbie ako sa analog effects e.. dis march lang ung first analog ko e.. hehe..

Have you guys tried the Behringer compressor/sustainer? I have one.. It does its job but i dunno how it compares to another comps though...

i think you;ll have enough sustain na with an overdriven signal :) pag tapat mo lang guitar sa amp hehe..mas warm lang tunog ng guitar pag naka comp..minsan parang tunog pigil..pero oks lang..

nakatabi lang comp ko ngayun..di ko pa nalaro masyado.

thnks thnks.. naku karl.. mkhang gsto ko kumuha ng sd-2.. gawin ko booster... tpos gsto ko rn magkaron ng comp for sustains... ahhhh!!!!! anu ba ito??!!! hahha   :shock:

may nagsabi rn sakin ok ung behringer e.. mura pa.. hehe
pero i was thinking of getting a comp without the tone adjust e.. para at least ndi mshado mag iba ung tunog.. hehe

kung may SD2 ka no need for a compressor to add sustain!!

I use the red Ibanez cp-9 Compressor... may attack time knob, level knob, and threshhold. works well wth any good effect. try to search for this baby simpe interface.

I have a bunyok modded cs-3. I got it modded already so I can't compare. Add's a bit of color naturally and I find it useful specially the way it sustains. Based on reviews I was quite impressed with the Demeter Comp-1 Opto Compulator and the Keeley :-)

Nagkaron ako ng cs-2 before and honestly wala akong narinig na sustain if there is any.

  Nakatry ako sa studio ng digitech main squeeze, and then noon ko lang na-appreciate ang mga compressor stomps.

  Ang tagal ng sustain ng digitech . u can even use it for chicken picking.
pwde rin sa lead guitar parts.

Find someone who can make this with good components. The Keeley and GoudieFX compressors are both based on this one.

BAMF would be someone you might want to consider asking!!  :lol:  :lol:

ahh yeah the rosscomp.

Okay. Check out this soundclip. I can hear the difference, the modded CS3 sounds more crisp than the rosscomp/keeley.
