Behringer Strat - Katrina
Black finish, maple neck and fingerboard, white pickguard. First guitar, and first electric. As a newbie in high school, it all looked awesome to me, but then its true colors showed and it just bailed out on me. Kinda like the girl I named it after (who was my high school crush. was.).
Yamaha ERB-070 - Sophie
Four string P bass, black finish, rosewood fingerboard. First bass. Named after this hot cute girl my HS classmate was dating. I literally slept with this bass for the first couple of months owning it.
RJ Bluesbreaker - The X Guitar
Les Paul copy, natural finish, the cheap version. Bought it because 1. not into the strat sound, and 2. it didn't make me look like a pint sized 13 year old like a strat/superstrat body would. I had my ex sign the back of the guitar (when we were still together of course) that's why it doesn't have a name. I have since erased the writing and I do not want to rename it because its past will disgrace its new name. Planning to have it doodled on by an artist friend.
Dean ML X - Katrina II
Black finish, hardtail, rosewood fingerboard. The spiritual replacement of Katrina the Behringer Strat, hence the II, like a queen. Coincidentally, I also have a crush on another Katrina, so that's a "retrofit" meaning to the Katrina lineage.
Yamaha F-330 - Boyet
Dreadnought. It's my dad's guitar, so I didn't give it a real name (which would be a woman's name). Boyet is more of a nickname than a true name. Planning to get a new acoustic, and that one I will name.
