napansin ko kasi walang thread about this one..
(although the factory is already closed, siguro meron naman mga users dito)

what can you say about it?

honestly,
as of now, di ko pa talaga afford makabili ng original na EBMM
that's why i want to know what's the up's and down's of this guitar..

mind you there are OLP copies(yes copies) out there..before when they came out the build quality was ok, decent for the 200-300 price they asked but still less quality compared to the Sterling made guitars out there...

as of now OLP guitars are no longer around...what you see are the old guitars...if you ever see brand new ones it's just as bryan said...they are copies...Sterling by musicman have taken over the OLP line and are much much better in terms of quality... :-D

I have an OLP Axis. The build is decent. The whammy stays in tune after dive bombing, etc. And it allows pull-up pitch whammy-ing. The pickups have moderate output and open-sounding IMO. It suits classic and hard rock playing. The sound can still be improved by replacing the pickups and locking bridge.

Jerems, then again, why should you?  :-)

Bryan said there are copies proliferating. When you showed me the pic of that OLP in the classifieds, I told you that I really doubt if it's legit, since the logo is different and the trem isn't what it's supposed to be.

If you really want an OLP, search the classifieds for an original one. Kung di ka makahintay a Greg Bennett Fastback will do.

I tried an OLP MM1 before. It's pretty good  :-)

Happy hunting, brotha!
