hehehe i wouldnt recommend a large capacity harddrive as primary drive/boot drive, pagtagal sobrang bagal nyan, and yes, it can be recognized by windows xp, as long as you format it using ntfs file system, pag ginawa mong fat yan, divide mo sa 40gb each drive. hehehe.

here's a small tip: allot only 15-20GB of partition space for your system drive (drive C) and whenever you change any internal hardware (processor, motherboard, video card, etc.) perform a disc image of your entire drive C using imaging programs such as Norton Ghost. whenever your system crashes, restore nyo lang using your saved image :)

I wonder how long it takes to defrag 1.25 tb?

Always have at least 2 drives, a system drive and a data drive. And if you're really paranoid, RAID 0+1 your system and data.

Pang big corporation computers na lang yan. Not ideal for home use. Unless may pera ka and 'di takot sa crashes.

puwedeng mag OT? since hard drives naman yung thread title.
