Sir Kulas, it seems the Zoom Multi Stomp is becoming a mainstay in the "barebones" set-up, I'm planning to get one myself. How does the Zoom MS 50 do when combined with analogs, OK po ba?

My barebones board without the board.

yup yup! sold! haha!

to answer your question, oks naman sha alongside analogs. overall very versatile kasi madami shang tunog. just don't expect to be switching patches within songs. medyo hindi ganon kadali yung lipatan. plus the tone. wala lang sa kanya yung hanap kong tunog. so it had to go, hehe.

Hi guys! I need your opinions. I'm thinking of setting up another miniboard with the following on it:

TC Polytune > Mooer Yellow Comp or TS type OD (optional ito sa chain) > Amptweaker Tight Metal (kung PRO mas ok  :-D) > Zoom MG-70 CDR

Ano sa tingin nyo?

IMHO kahit wala na yun Polytune. decent naman yun tuner ng MS70cdr e. I can live with a TS type OD, the Amptweaker Tightmetal/PRO and a ZOOM MS70cdr :)

Ah ok, so tuner na pala yun 70CDR. I haven't done my research yet on that pedal. Laway na laway kasi ako sa Tight Metal. Thanks man!

update 08/01/2011

Wow this set up gave me an idea.  Will probably try making a barebones set up myself with a wylde wah, wylde OD, MXR micro amp, and TC Flashback delay.  :)

what will you use it mainly for? IMO, mas sulit yung ms-50g kasi mas marami siyang features compared to the ms-70cdr. decent din yung mga modulations, delay and reverb ng ms-50g tapos may latest upgrade pa ng software.

If you want a dedicated chorus, reverb, delay unit, get the MS70. Pero if you need the other effects that the MS50 can give, go for the MS50.
