BUYING A NEW LAPTOP!

my current laptop (DELL Inspiron 1525) is having problems, i got blue screened and the thing won't reboot so the internal hard drive was replaced due to a bad sector on the previous one. two days after i got my laptop with a band spankin new hard disk, i got blue screened again. i reseated the hard disk and restarted and it was all fine. i'm just worried that it has motherboard issues so im looking at my options on buying a NEW one.

uses for laptop:
-home recording (including midi)
-a lot of photo softwares for image editing and processing
-video editing
-light gaming (i'll maybe install 2 to 3 games like COD4 and L4D2. HAHA)
-School Work

what laptop would you suggest?

Wow, daming pambili ng software for image and video editing Anyway, kung performance talaga, nothing beats a desktop/workstation w/ 8GB of RAM and Quadro FX line of video cards (supports dual display). Pero kung laptops, hanapin mo ito dito locally:
