no offense, but the headstock on that new Epiphone LP look worse than the previous ones.. what are they doing? :(

none taken! it's not my gtr. i actually sold my epi goldtop dati bec, eventually, i just couldn't get past the headstock.

but, dude, the looks on the blues custom 30. parang gretsch, or the older tone king amps.  *drools*

that's an epiphone elitist les paul.  it's a different series from the usual made in korea epiphones as this one is made in japan.  i've seen the headstock up close.  i actually like it better than the other epi headstock.  YMMV, as always.

yes, very funky/futuristic looking. how does it sound?

extreme.. of course you're right, YMMV. it looks more like a heritage headstock than a gibson or epiphone

as you know, pare, half of the battle of getting an amp past the wife is it's aesthetics.  kung ganyang mukhang old TV set, panalo yan sa kanya yan! parang ganito plan ko para may amp ako sa sala:


as for the tone, early reports are very good, altho tube change are prolly in order.  what hits me most are the specs and features!  parang tweed amp++ siya.  if it sounds like one, i'll stop popping those anit-GAS pills i'm takin... :-)
