Zoom A2 alternatives?

Hi guys.
Are there any alternatives to a Zoom A2?
I've seen a Behringer ADI21..any opinions?

You see, I'm looking for a nice acoustic multifx that wouldn't do me too much damage (still have an electric to save up for). I want something that can get me a variety of tones or make my current (plugged) acoustic sound boomier. Something closer to a jumbo. :)

umm..maybe the older zoom 504 is a good alternative..but id personally go with the newer a2 multi..yamaha ag stomp?kaso wild sa pagkamahal, hehe

multi effects ba ang hinahanap mo? oh something na magpapaganda ng sound ng acoustic mo? kasi kung multi, not counted yung ADI21. pero kung pre-amp na makakapagpaganda ng sound ng acoustic mo, pwede yun. although di pa ako nakakatry nung ADI21.

d ko pa rin natatry yung Zoom A2. pero yung zoom 504, d ko talaga nagustuhan. parang pumangit yung mga acoustic namin noon. Yamaha APX pa yun tsaka Ovation Celebrity. nawawala character ng guitar mo. pekeng peke tunog. kaya binenta kagad yung 504. :) me tuner nga lang tung mga zoom. hehe

try mo yung ADI21 kung magugustuhan mo. yung BDI21 namin pang bass ang ganda eh.:) or baka me Sans Amp. maganda raw. mahal nga lang yata yun. mga nasa magkano ba budget mo?

wow biran, ganda ng offer mo sakin ah.
If I didn't have an electric guitar to save for, kunin ko na yan as is. :lol:

But unfortunately ganun nga...so maybe the ADI21 might serve me well. Kagandahan lang kasi ng multifx, may reverb na. I've tried using reverb on my guitar before, & it just comes to life. :)

I'll try to find time to test the ADI21 myself.

magkano ba budget mo or yung budget na nasa isip mo? kung ADI21, mura talaga yun. probably mapapaganda tunog mo, i dont know. :)  kasi parang ok na yung tunog ng Washburn mo eh. if you need a direct box, ok yun para sa'yo.
pero kung magzu-zoom ka (budget wise), pwede nating pagusapan yung inaalok ko ha. me reverb pa tsaka chorus.
anyway, i think malaking tulong yung ADI21 to serve you as a direct box. happy testing.:)

I was doing a lot of stuff then.

Yun na nga rin ang kagandahan ng ADI21; DI box na rin.
Just wondering...ano ang tunog pag ganito ang setup?:
acoustic > reverb pedal > amp

Reverb does a lot to my sound eh. I've been testing 'reverb' by using the echo feature in my home stereo's Mic in. :lol:

you mean electric guitar amp? ako personally ayaw ko nun. i'd rather plug into a keyboard amp (ok na ok) or a bass amp na lang.:)

IMO maganda reverb sa acoustic. walang reverb yung ADI21 dba?

actually sakin sobrang big thing ang reverb... :) sarap...

i've tried ADI, personally i rily don't like the sound... IMO lang naman... :) kaya binenta ko kagad...

i haven't tried AD3, pero balita ko sobrang sarap.. was about to buy one dati, binebenta sakin ng 8k ata yun... pero nung binalikan ko, wala na... :cry:

kung may budget ka, i'd go for the AD3... :) mas gusto ko kasi yung mas natural na tunog pag acoustic... mas feel eh... kung nde mo naman nagustuhan... paabutin mo ng november, bibilhin ko sayo yan... :)

ok na ok unior. hehe. pero kidding aside ang laki ng nagagawa sa akin ng AD-3. i love the reverb. sa chorus naman, maganda tunog nya. d lang ako mahilig magchorus sa acoustic. gusto ko acoustic lang talaga eh. ang galing din nung bottom tsaka top knobs. parang d sya ordinary low tsaka hi. d ko maexplain. better read the description ng boss. :) pero ang pinakamahalagang feature nya para sa akin is yung antifeedback. 2 pa sya. so ang linaw ng tunog ng acoustic ko. yun nga lang, d na ako nagaacoustic ngayon. kaya benta. hehe.

sir, pakidescribe mo nga tunog ng ADI21.. curious lang ako. :)  kasi maganda yung BDI tska marami ring gumagamit ng GDI, how about the ADI?

with regards to ADI21, pangit kasi lumabas sa tunog ko... di ko lang alam sa ibang gumamit nito... pero baka nasa gitara din... i'm currently using ibanez acoustic... and sabi sakin nung isang may-ari ng ganitong model, pangit daw yung ADI21 sa gitara ko... pretty much the same as what i've experienced with my previous guitar.... eniwei, try mo pa rin, baka magkaiba tayo opinion... :D

paabutin mo november yan, sureball ako...  :wink:

well sa acoustic, the more natural it sounds, the better.

kasi one thing that i really hate is over-processed acoustic tones, like may reverb, delay, chorus, etc. etc. ganyan yung nagagawa ng zoom 504II eh, i also have that pedal, ended up not using it, hehe.

ako for me ang setup lang na gusto ko, guitar -> baggs para DI -> house (+ house reverb) for me reverb lang talaga sa acoustic ayos na. tapos konting EQ na lang.

malamang maganda yung acoustic processor ni in_the_tent. sobrang panalo yan. at least simple lang yung effects and you get all you need for acoustics.

I'vve heard an acoustic plugged into an electric guitar amp... :? Kinilabutan ako sa tunog. It's that harsh. :lol:

Maybe the ADI21 would be my best choice nga. Kakabanas kasi yung PA system namin sa school, Bose nga naman sana, kaso nineteen kopong-kopong pa.

Kung pangit nga yung tunog ng Oscar Schmidt ko through the ADI21, di bale. The sound I'm looking for is almost there, but not quite. :)

same here. acoustic guitar ko diretso lang sa house PA. i want the guitar to sound naturally as possible. even on the console, i set the eq on my channel flat. i just tweak the acoustic's eq with regards to my sound preference :D

"Bose" - ideally maganda dapat ang tunog.
In our case, may sariling pag-cut ang signal. :lol:
Last time na ginamit yun sa flag ceremony, nagloko..sa lahat pa ng tao..dun pa sa kapangalan ng guitar ko. :roll:
