I know, haha di ko naman din nirecommend si GT2. pero, kung versatility kumbaga, I think I'd go with the GT2.

Hahaha. I have had the chance of owning the GT-2 several times and have tried it on several amps as well. Totoo nga, mejp kakaiba siya pag sa front ng tube amp mo ilalagay. Although maayos kung nasa fx loop. Pero paminsan makakakuha ka din naman ng maayos na timpla kahit sa front, helpful kung may external EQ pedal for better tone shaping.

As far as the Shredhead is concerned, or any other MI Audio Crunchbox clone, may mga amp din siya na mas binabagayan.

Handy lang yung GT-2 for those who would like to use it more than just by plugging it sa amp.. Pwede siyang DI box at amp simulator sa mga mixer, afaik, at pwede ring direct na nakaplug sa mga audio interface for recording.  :-)

Pedals are fun, thouh.. trial and error, test and see where it works best..  :-D

^^(OT ata to) im using a 4-channel mixer to record my guitar, no amp sim whatsoever since di naman ako maaalam mashado  :wink: . so yung GT-2 ok ba gamitin ko para maging 'amp-like' yung sounds ng guitar tracks ko? another question is...swabe ba sha sa solid state?  :?

Question 1: Yes, okay siya para maging amp like yung guitar track mo.
Question 2: Depends on the solid state. mas okay parin pag sa FX Loop mo siya pinlug. YMMV parin.

Ibanez RGR321ex MII OR Epiphone  ES-339 PRO

I currently own the RGR321ex, just want to try a semi-hollow body, not really sure if this would work out. I played mostly Alternative Rock and also planning to use this in a semi-acoustic band.

Mga bossing, kuha sana ako ng bagong guitar and amp modeller/MFX unit next week. Sa guitar nakaset na kukunin ko, sa modeller hindi ko alam kung Line 6 HD500x or Boss GT-100. Sino na nagamit sa mga to and any comments (especially when used on 80s rock / metal context)? Wala man 1K ang difference ng price nila sa Yupangco so medyo nakakalito. Zoom and Digitech palang nagamit ko before so no idea about sa dalawang to although maraming nagsasabi na palyado yung GT-100 pagdating sa amp modelling kasi luma na yung technology (COSM)? Anyway, any comment would be appreciated. Thanks.

LINE6 HD500 wins this for me. I have a friend playing in a metal band who converted to using just the HD500. solb ka na dito. the sounds you get are really impressive and really close to the real thing.

First amp niyo po ba sir? may experience na po ba kayo sa pagplay ng TUBE Amp?

kung first time po sir, dun nalang po sa Orange 20ldx para less hassle, less maintenance sayo.

pero kung upgrade, go for the CUB10. iba ang ganda ng tunog talaga ng tube amp.

well, mejo mahirap as compared to Solidstates. di siya basta basta on off lang. kailangan papainitin mo yun tubes. kailangan zero volume bago patayin, di pwedeng maalog masyado, etc. so yun, consider mo lang.

naghahanap po ako ng magandang amp para sa bahay, small amp for practice and home recording.
Gusto ko po sana ng pedal friendly na solid state amp, na malinis ang clean (whut, malinis na nga clean pa).
I'll be playing with modulation and synth effects for guitar mainly, kaya ganyan ang choice ko.
May nabanggit po sa akin na ok daw po yung Stagg 20W amp, may iba pa po bang choices?  :-D

Salamat sir.. Paano po ba magpainit ng tubes? Mga masters, pahingi na rin po advice sa gagawin ko for tube amp.. i mean, pano magmaintain at mga do's and dont's.. thanks in advance. \m/
