Ano pros and cons? Solve ba pangrecording ang AMD processors mga sir?

Depende siguro sa requirements ng recording software sir. Check mo muna system requirements before choosing your processor

Choose wisely. Naka depende sa requirements ang pagpili mo ng processor, Intel or AMD.

Well, i don't really know things about intel, since the last intel i had was a pentium 4. And the rest, AMD na.

But kung ako tatanungin, at sa mga nakikita kong price list, over priced ang intel, ang pinagkaiba lang para sakin? Yung tinatawag nilang cache memory. Kunwari, pinagcompare ko lang, yung Athlon II na quad core with 2MB cache, tapos yung intel, 3.0ghz din tapos ang lamang lang 8mb cache. So pano yun nagkahalaga at least a thousand peso more than an AMD?

@electronictokwa, sir maaari mo bang maexplain samin kung ano ang cache memory?

Parang temporary storage sya ng commonly used applications para di na kukuha sa memory pag meron nang copy sa cache. So pag meron nang copy sa cache, mas mabilis ang processing since di na sya magbabasa sa memory. Parang ganun.

Pag meron pang input ang ibang techie dyan share dito mga sir!

AMD kna lng ser. Mura AMD. ang advantage kse ng AMD pag nag overheat ang AMD maamtay lng ang PC mo. pag INTEL nmn uusok ung CPU mo :"> (Base sa aking experience)

INTEL == Quality of Hardwares , Speed pang Laptop
AMD == parang Class A but Speed is Ayos.. and AMD is for GAMING pero mas mabilis eto sa laptop

Did you now that the non-Itanium Intel 64-bit (x64) technology comes from AMD? Intel cross-licensed with AMD to use AMD64 (x86-64) technology in their processors. AMD's days of being just a clone of Intel are long gone.

* I presumed that when you say Class A, it means class a copy or clone.

7 years AMD user here.

yung dual core ko 1st gen pa yun kung di ko lang nabagsak at nabaliko yung pins gumagana pa sana.

now im down to a 2.7Ghz Sempron 140 pero sulit parin.wala na akong masyadong ginagawa ngayon sa pc puro downloads at browsing na lang.

if im to consider setting up another gaming/multimedia pc, id still go for AMD.

Sa work ko may mga nakakausap akong resellers na may customers na may gaming companies, and yes, they prefer AMD systems including video cards.

Pag workstation class (desktop or mobile), karamihan combination ng Intel saka AMD ang configuration eh

Second gen Quad Core na Intel I7 saka AMD / ATI graphics. Kung di ako nagkakamali, AMD ata naglabas ng unang mobile graphics na kaya mag support ng more than 3 external displays pag naka dock.

Nakapag assemble nako using both precessor pero mas prefer ko Intel kasi marami ako naging problema using AMD kaya balik Intel ulit ako ngayon mas ok talaga yun para sa akin base sa experience ko.

oh and one more thing mga chong, minsan inaabot ng 2 days na walang patayan yung pc nung naka dual core ako. pati yung setup ngayon sa bahay. never had any overheating issues. i just make sure na properly ventilated yung system(case) at regular ang cleaning at replacement ng thermal paste.

napansin ko mas mabilis ang AMD. nung nasira yung intel ko pinalitan ng AMD na parehas lang ng specs. Mas mabilis.

interesting itong info ninyo sir! Ask ko nalang tuwing kelan ba nililinis o pinapalitan yung thermal paste at papaano? Pero yung mga bago ata ngayon na processors wala na atang thermal paste na kailangan eh. Correct me if I'm wrong. TIA
