I have a clone TS pedal and I use it as a stand alone OD. It doesn't matter if its a tube or an SS amp as long as its a good amp, I can still get sweet-as-hell sounds out of it.  :-D

Ganun din ako doesn't matter kung SS or Tube amp... Nakukuha sa tweaking. Mine is a Bad Monkey. I can dial Santana tones pa nga eh.

But then again, masmaganda sa tube.

As for the TS' question...

Of course, that could be said about any amp naman na hindi ka familiar pero it would be good to keep in mind.

In my experience, sa mga ts pedals, the eternity was good as a standalone pedal even on an ss amp (tried it with a marshall mg, which isn't even a good pedal platform for od imo).

Agree.

SD-1 or a TS-9 with a boost pedal before that is good enough even on a solid state.
I have stated that there are more bad sounding suhrs then there are good ones.

Same here. I would suggest getting an amp and bringing it to gigs. kahit mahirap magbuhat at least dala mo ung tone mo.

i remember myself lugging around an amp sa bus together with my guitar and pedalboard HAHHAA!
nope. never again! haha!

TS + Tube amp = damn great!

before i used a TS clone before my drive pedal for boosting.

TS9 to a Roland Cube tas naka strat. ayus din eh. :)

At mas maganda lalo tunog nya kapag nilaksan pa volume ng amp.

Eto setup ko ngayon, except switch the strat to a G&L Tribute tele and add a Catalinbread Montavillian Echo pedal after the TS-9.  Sulit!

TS9 with a little deeelay. Sweet on a solid state amp.

Although me plans ako mag Classic 20, titingnan ko nalang kung anong mas trip kong tone. Hula ko.. yung sa Classic 20. Haha.

What sounds sweeter? A single-coiled guitar on TS? Or a humbuggie guitar on TS?
Sorry OT.

I'll go for the single coils.
