And yung guitar na gamit niya is yung JP13 na. Excited na ako sa new album nila. Hehehe. Kuha tayo ng Royal Atlantic Head! Wahaha!

Hey guys, I have a problem with my Mark IV, hope you guys can help:

Whenever I start the amp, my lead channel is fine, but after a couple of minutes playing, the volume and the gain drops. I leave it alone for a couple of minutes, then the volume and gain goes back to normal, then goes down again after a couple of minutes. This happens to when I switch to Lead channel from Rhy1 or Rhy2 channel.

I don't have a problem with my Rhy1 and Rhy2 channels.

Is this a tube problem? I googled, and read that I should swap my V3 & V4 tubes. I did that already, but am still experiencing the same problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

How's your power supply? 110 yang MarkIV mo right? Are you using an AVR for your 110 power outlet? Hindi ba fluctuating yung kuryente sa inyo?

Yup, it's 110v, and I'm using an AVR for it. Power's not fluctuating naman. It's been two days that the amp is like this.

Try to call mang raul.

Decided to keep my F-30. So I'm still part of the club!  :) Can't part with that Mesa.

Gaganda ng mga Mark IV niyo! One day when I get enough intention and patience to save for it. LOL

Oo nga nakakapaglaway  nga pla I have tested the mini and dual rectifier pero hindi ko gusto yung dirty channel. parang merong mali. ganun din ba ang pagkakadinig ninyo?

When i played through a dual rectifier before, vintage mode was best for me. Tamang high gain metal! Did you try that on the DR you tested?

So i couldn't agree wth you na may mali (well at least sa settings na ginamit ko nun). It was a great amp. Id choose it over the Diezel i tried overall with price to value to sound ratio. Just my opinion. But syempre taste yan so the Rectifier gain may not be for you.

If I could use my budgets for a Mesa, I would get a Roadster head.

yung "parang mali" sa rectifier heads is yung fuzzy mush when you dial too much gain with too much mids. masyado hairy tunog. i tried the modern setting sa triple and dual recs, mas madali i dial yung fuzzy na matabang tunog sa tight na tunog. although i managed to get a tight sound pero after much much tweaking time.

i like them though. but i like the dual than the triple. mas tight tunog ng dual. the triple has the BIG/HUGE/GIGANTIC sound that i find hard to tame.

now that mini is a great amp.

Always try to start at 12 o'clock sa lahat ng knobs when trying out Mesa Amps.

di ba may diode switches din sa recto heads that affect the gain structure?
