If Blackstar will listen and put a 1 watt switch on the HT5R, then it would be a killer amp. 
I may need an attenuator to enjoy its tube character.

May tonal difference po ba kung papalitan ko po yung isang stock preamp tube nung HT5R?
May malaki po ba improvement sa sounds?
Say JJ 12AX7? Mullard? Groove Tubes?

I experimented with just the blackstar HTdist last night. It uses a stock sovtek tube, i sounded ok, i then tried and EHX tube which i really didn't like the sound at all, lastly i installed a TAD tube fresh from Lyric...I am loving the sound big time, thick and creamy and definition!!! It's a keeper!!! TAD tubes and Blackstar a match made in HELL!

Planning to upgrade my HT5R Preamp tube.
Sa net nakita ko po halos lahat masaya sa Tungsol 12AX7.
I'll consider the TAD tubes po aswell.
Iniisip ko nga rin po sana yung speaker upgrade, Celestion Speaker maybe.

For the cost of upgrades you're gonna do, might as well upgrade to an HT20.

Sige po kakalimutan ko na lang yung preamp tube upgrade na yan.
Upgrade ko na lang yung mismong amp. 

HT20!! 

Ipon muna ako pangdagdag bago ko ibenta yung HT5R ko.
O kaya abang na lang ng magandang trade offers.

Is the ht 20 loud enough to cut thru in a full band set up? Its my first time buying a tube amp eh and di ko pa gets wattage nila..ht 20 studio does it mean ang range ng volume nya is studio only how about sa gigs or sa church? Maganda ba clean channel nya glassy ba like the vox ac series?

Full band? Definitely. It's LOUD amp.
Clean niya ay hindi parang Vox. Hindi siya kasing chimey. Siguro parang Fender Bassman yung clean niya.

Malabo pricing. haha. Ang alam ko 35k yung HT20 when I bought mine. Pero they said they were going to raise the prices when the new stocks arrive.

From your previous post you mentioned you are going for the HT20 combo. Right?

I can see that your HT5R combo is relatively new and now you're going for another GAS.

Have you though of going for the head/cab instead?
Baka magbago mind mo pag nakabili ka ng HT20 combo.

Go directly for the HT20 head.
And you'll not be going for another GAS sooner.
and it will come out cheaper in the end.
