Honestly, your amp is very tempting. Kaso hindi ko rin kaya bitiwan yung AC30CC1 ko... hehe.

I don't think I can buy the Marshall I want, pero I see myself getting a Blackstar in the near future.

Hehe. Yung binebenta ko is the same as the speaker in his HT20. Stock speaker.

Kadiri para sa akin yung term na tone party (heheh, sorry guys, it just is), but maybe we can schedule some get together here in LB and line up some amps over beer... Kahit dito sa bahay namin, I have more than enough space. And ok lang kahit tumaas ng kaunti volume. Malakas kasi magpatunog ng amp si Jet.

Ay teka... puwede na ba kayo uminom ni GAS brother Chino mo? Hehehe.

Noticed yesterday my HT-5RS has a substantial decrease in volume.
Where before i cannot crank the volume over 9 o'clock on practice/studio room levels, now the volume is low even when maxed. On the clean channel the max volume is more lower.
This amp is barely 12 days old!!!
What could possibly be the problem?

Which tube? pre-amp or power?
The emulated output is working fine. The emulated output is after the pre-amp but before the power amp/finals right? Could these be that the pre-amp tube is okay and the power tube is the culprit?

Does anyone here knows the bias setting of the HT5-R should i need to change the power tube?

Most likely it's the preamp tube rather than the power tubes.
HT5 is cathode biased. Meaning, wala ng bias adjustment na kailangan gawin pag magpapalit ng tubes. Plug ang play lang.

Most likely it's the preamp tube rather than the power tubes.
HT5 is cathode biased. Meaning, wala ng bias adjustment na kailangan gawin pag magpapalit ng tubes. Plug ang play lang.   

Oh it's plug and play then. That's good news!

I read somewhere that power output tubes that are cathode-biased should always be checked when replacing tubes, because they vary widely in terms of idle current for a given cathode resistor value, and it may be necessary to change the cathode resistor value to return the output stage to it's proper bias current.

I hope it's just the tubes.

I returned it to the dealer though just to be sure as it is still under warranty. Better not touch anything.

Just picked up a replacement HT5-R head today.
Lyric/Blackstar replaced the faulty amp and sent it to the dealer.
Nice service Lyric/Blackstar.

The box says moa for these. The first one not sure which branch. The sales clerk thinks it was from moa too.

I wish i would know what the fault was too. But the faulty amp is still lying in the store corner untouched.

The volume drop problem suddenly reminded me of my old Marshall Valvestate.
