$450 is street price. that's about P19k. $570 is USA list price that's about P24k. Lyric sells ht-5r's for P27k. considering tax and shipping, that's actually a fair price for one

Is the HT Stage 100 good for its price or should I stick with the HT-5R for the best bang/buck ratio? I really liked the HT-5R but I think it lacked that extra kick that I require.

I don't have an HT Stage 100. I only have the HT5R full stack.

I think both are great amps.
The Stage 100 is one of the best sounding tube amps in it's price range. Ditto with the HT5R.
You won't go wrong with both whichever you may chose.
It all boils down to your requirement and application.
The HT5R albeit only 5 watts is loud for a 5 watt tube amp.

If money is not an issue, go for the Stage 100

Ang concern ko lang pala sa HT5 ay yung power tube. parang ang hirap maghanap ng 12BH7 na tube kung sakaling bumigay yung stock tube. tsaka plug n play ba ang power tube nito mga sir? tried googling pero i get mixed answers.

Try calling Lyric MOA, they will ship to the province as far as i know.
I have inquired once and they confirm they can do it.
You pay the shipping of course. I understand ToGO is near their store so that would be the easiest/convenient courier for them to use.

Or inquire if they probably have a local dealer in Bacolod.

Sya nga pala, medyo OT manggagaling kasi ako sa setup na Zoom FIRE-15 modeling amp with Boss MT-2 metal zone. Malaking difference ba pag nagswitch ako to HT-5R?

i think okay na ang HT-5R combo pang bahay lang. If you plan to use it on small/medium size venues, perhaps you may consider the HT-5R head which you can go later to a full stack.

With the HT-5R, dispose/trade your MT-2 to a GE-7 equalizer. You may not need any other pedals (except Delay and Chorus).

On my HT-5R, pambahay, with the OD Gain set at 10 o'clock, I seldom go over 9 o'clock on the OD Volume. If you are into Clean channel, perhaps you may consider the HT-20. The Clean channel Volume i find a bit lacking on the HT-5R.

But I am planning to acquire a bigger one when I settle in the Phils. soon!!!
