Personally tried ID15 at Lyric Cubao. Deym.. That amp really packs a punch. Blackstar nailed it. Soon enough I believe this is going be a trend cuz of the FET emulation of the tubes. Maintenance and compact wise I'd give this a 10

Questions lang regarding id series amps.

Read a review online that there is a delay between patch switching? Any comments on this?

Tama ba intindi ko.

The patches on the amp will be like patches on a multi effects pedal? so switch lang ng switch e.g. clean to od1 to od2 to clean with modulation od with modulation?

pati tube type napapalitan ba per patch? or one tube type lang?

Thanks! really thinking of getting a good practice amp to upgrade to. it's either the id:30 or the ht-5r.

So far wala naman akong napapansin. Check ko uli later

Yes. It can be as flexible as a multi if you want it to. Can transform into an entirely different amp (INCLUDING tubes) with each stomp. With effects to boot. Master volume (+presence in the case of ID:60) are global parameters (not saved in patches).

Get the ID:30. Flexible as h3ll... literally delivers the Blackstar premise of "sound in your head"

Edit lang, it STILL depends on your needs and tastes.
If SOUND ang pinag-uusapan, the ID30 can go toe-to-toe with HT5 IMO.
If SIMPLICITY, PRICE, and INTANGIBLE TUBE MOJO, HT5
If FLEXIBILITY, MP3 IN, and LESS MAINTENANCE, ID30

But what the heck, methinks "Intangible tube mojo" is negligible. Get a blindfold and you will have a hard time discerning which is which.

Hope that helps

Thanks sa inputs sir! mukhang id series nga ang sulit. Price difference na lang pala ang laban nila.

you can always go manual mode and use it as an amp without effects.

Drop by at Lyric Horseshoe Branch. Lyric has only 2 of those in the Philippines. Loud and powerful head. No need for boost pedals.

Na-GAS ako sa thread na ito at literal na sinimulan ko sa una. Parang nasa gitna pa lang ako di ko na matiis. Anyway, is the HT40 loud enough sa tipong basketball court ang lugar? Kumusta HT amps with pedals? Okay ba sila at low volume? Thanks!

I really didn't pay attention to the Blackstar ID60 when I first saw them shipped to stores, but when I tried one at Phoenix_Rising's house, I was pleasantly surprised at the range of tonz you could get out of that thing. If I wasn't so dependent on fuzz and stacked reverbs, this'd be a one-stop solution for gigging. REALLY looking forward to how the technology develops. Might spring for one in the future.

Bro I use a Joyo Roll Boost and a Joyo Overdrive for the HT5. I just do the usual and put the gain on the OD to less than 9 o clock and push the volume to around 3 o clock and its way tight, great for metal. I also have an EQ on the effects loop.

thanks for the reply bro.  i recently bought a danelectro CTO v.1 and napansin ko na medyo nawawala yung chunkyness, kapal and thickness ng bass frequencies pag gamit ko yung CTO v.1 pang boost, vs. sagarin ko yung gain ng HT5.

What's your experience?
