thanks for the reply bro.  i recently bought a danelectro CTO v.1 and napansin ko na medyo nawawala yung chunkyness, kapal and thickness ng bass frequencies pag gamit ko yung CTO v.1 pang boost, vs. sagarin ko yung gain ng HT5.

What's your experience?

no experience sa Danelectro pedal bro pero para magka bass ako, may EQ pedal ako sa effects loop saka may low frequency ako sa amp EQ. pero sa setup ko ngayon mas ok kung mids ako sa amp tapos dun yung low end sa effects loop EQ pedal. mas mahilig kasi ako Megadeth na tunog.

pero ang pansin ko kasi sa amp, mas ok talaga tunog nya pag malakas ang volume. talagang hayup ang dating ng gain. pag low volume ako na nasa 7 to 8 o clock e kelangan timpla-timpla sa pedals para maganda yung tunog. saka mabigat yung low end sa higher volume output.

Thanks sa reply sir. So oks pa rin tunog ng amp kahit pushed ng OD? Ayos sana ID kaso di ko alam kung oks siya with analog pedals.

Yup ok naman sya kahit may pedals ka in front. Pwede mo din gamitin ung efx loop (Emulated out, MP3 in. Upgrade mo muna firmware).

IMO mas labas ung tunog nya pag ginagamitan ko ng OD as booster. Pero depende pa din sa taste mo.

My experience: ok na ok na rekta sounds nya. I just use a pitchblack tuner, bad horsie 2 wah, and boss ns2. Solb na solb. I want the 260. I only have the 112. Hehe

Bought a brand new Blackstar HT-1RW in Arctic White for a very sweet price of $200 and it came with a free Digitech multi-effects pedal.

I have never tried a Blackstar nor I have idea how it sound.  All I know is I got it cheap and I was planning to flip it for profit.  After the purchase, I went online to check for reviews, articles and demos and I'm now intrigue to open it and try it.

Recently sold a HT1 Metal combo.

I used to have a HT1R combo, decent, but it's not the tone (in my head no pun intended lol)  that I was looking for. Sold it and moved to Mesa. Recently, due to unforeseen circumstance, I sold the Mesa and thought of going back to Blackstar.

I was really keen on the ID series, but the guy who's supposed to sell me his backed out last minute. I settled for a HT1 Metal instead. Too much gain for a small amp. Perhaps the 1x8 speaker cannot take too much aggression. I hooked it on a Krank 1x12 cab and it shines. I may not nail the Mesa tones but its good enough for a while.

The HT Metal 60 could be better, more EQ options and bigger speaker.

Oo chief ako nga, lol, nakascore ka na pala ng ID: 260. HDB friendly ba? lol! San mo nabili? Mahal sa Woodworks e.

Nabenta ko a few days ago yung HT1 Metal, sabog kasi dahil sa 8 inch speaker. Ok naman sa 1x12 cab pero malakas yung feedback. Hi gain din kasi pups ko - Wolfetone Timber Wolfe wound to 16K, plus custom Alnico 8 mags.

OT: yung Mini Rec halos kasabayan ko si Chuck kumuha sa Ebenex, sayang nga binenta ko, lasing ata ko nun napost ko sa ads, bigla may buyer di ko nahindian.

Amp quest pa ako ngayon, pero sana kumuha na lang ako ng ID:15 kesa sa Ht1 metal. oh well...

ID260 ko galing sa kabanda ko na nabili nya sa woodworkz. hehe. mura ko lang nabili sa kanya kasi may HT Metal60 na sya.
So far sulit tunog ng ID260 at HTMetal60. Nagamit na namin sa malaking bar.

We went last night sa isang outdoor gig in laguna. YUng mga tao dun, halatang hindi nagphi-philmusic kasi naka-boss pedals pa pero ang gagaling magpatunog. Dinala ko yung amp dun. Pagkatapos ng gig nagcomment yung isang matandang geetarer, anlaki at angkapal raw ng tunog ko e mas maliit pa yung gamit kong amp sa kanila  Nagtanong pa, Blackstar? magkano yan? sinabi ko yung presyo. "Mahal din pala dapat nag marshall ka na lang"

Matandang geetarer: Pero san mo nabili?
