At the moment ang pwede palang bilhin na tingi is yung plain steel strings.

Gamit ko sa LESPAUL ko. kakaiba yung feel compared sa daddarios at rotosound na mga ginagamit ko dati. parang sobrang madulas. para sakin lang ah. hehe.

It's because of the coating. You'll get used to it after a while.

I suggest you try them out. It's P775 a pack. And they last 3-5x longer, although YMMV.

been on for 7 months on one guitar and 3 months on another, no sign of wear..

depends on the user though. i've been playing light stuff lately(no metals stuffs) so i guess this explains mine.

Usually I change d addario strings before if they are really rusty already and almost 3months old. Just to be sure nothing happens during gigs. Now since elixir gets rusted for a long time, my question is when will it usually snap with regular use?

if snapping meant string breakage, my fastest time that i've experienced is 15mins. the coils on the low e string got dragged by the saddle. (i guess it's because i cut the ball ends wrong) lol..

good for me, it was double locking so i unwind the strings from the tuners and recycle it. lol..

i have been using elixir strings for both of my 2 guitars. i love it. ganda ng tunog, prang fresh pa din kahit na going on 4 months old nang nakakabit. haha. now i want to try the cables.
