Hi! We recorded this for our vocalist's film thesis. This was crammed as we had a deadline. We composed and recorded this song in about 8 hours, and it's a testament to cramming's ability to bring out the best in you.
The instruments were recorded live, and vocals were overdubbed. Guitars were close-mic'ed using a Laney LV100 amp and a Goldea TNT-B running through a Kustom Eminence speaker with a homemade cab; the mics were Behringer XM8500s. Bass was recorded through DI via a Laney RB4 amp. For the drums, 8 mics were used. A Behringer C2 pair in X/Y to avoid phase issues, two Behringer XM8500 mics for the toms, a cheap Carol mic (of surprisingly good sound and quality) for the kick drum, and a Samson Q7 mic for the snare. Vocals were recorded using an Audio Technica AT2020 condenser mic. All of these went through a Tascam US-1800 16 input audio interface, recorded and mixed in REAPER.

The vocal mic here, however, was a Samson, and the drum mics were less, and were arranged somewhat halfway between Glyn Johns and Recorderman. This was recorded and mixed by Kenneth Castillo. I'm sure he's in PM too, but I don't know his username.
