Hindi! Ipapakita ko yung Pearl kit ng pinsan ko mula Australia. Sabi ng tita ko around P1.2 million daw ang ginastos. Anim lang daw sila meron sa buong mundo nung kit na yun. Nasa Las Piņas na daw  e, susubukan ko na at kukunan ng litrato.

Tingnan ko kung totoo nga ito.

Kung oo, magmumukha akong jologs na nagpo-pose sa isang naka-park na Jaguar hehehe.

I went yesterday to check out the DW Collectors (usa) kits. They have three in stock (one is at Park Square One Makati, the other two in the warehouse in QC). All Satin Oil Stain, lavendar to natural fade, emerald, and ebony. 14x22, 16x22, and 18x 22 kick in same order. Some have 5x14 inch snare some have 6x14 inch. Ebony kit has hanging tom, other two have floor tom. Each comes with Delta 2 5500td hi hat, 9700 combo/straight-boom stand, 9300 snare stand, 9999 combo tom stand/cym stand, Delta 3 accelerator 500ad3 bd pedal, throne is extra (3 to choose from), and they have extra cymbal stands if you need more. They are asking 450k but I made a deal with the owner for much much less, but didn't buy as sizes and colors were not what I was looking for, in that price range. I rented a van round trip from Angeles City as it was my intention to buy, but was just a wasted day (and cash) for me. I suggested to the owner that she order kits with Lacquer finishes and no small bass drums, she is going to email them to see what's available since she has a container coming over soon.

ps, yes I did ask the dimensions in advance, but when I got there, found out that what was said, and what is in stock, was not the same...

about the pearl drums.. i think yan ung pinakita sa akin sa LP may cd sila magkakapatid.. dna ata ung name ng band... saw the pics of the drums on their cd..

Tama ka 420!!! DNA Rock pangalan nila. Si Josh yung pinsan kong isa don. Actually yung buong pamilya nila musicians, tumugtog nga sila ng classic rock e (sino uli yung banda na kumanta ng "Chains"? Hehe.)

Ang pagkakaalam ko, Reference yung drums niya kasi binabanggit sakin iba't-iba yung kahoy na ginagamit sa bawat drum.

heard just a few of their songs... chains? sa local grp ba yan? may mga composition kasi friends ko way back 2000?ithink bulletproof name ng band drummer ng knk pumalo.. yan kaya ung chains? na cnasabi mo?  btw sa dna rock oo nga nakwnto nung isang studio sa LP na musician nga daw ung family... ganda ng mga gamit nila sa pic on their cd...

ok yang DW but, mahal siya, not for the typical drummer na pinoy.
kaya nga mabenta ang pearl,gretsch,sonor etc kasi kahit na mid-entry kit na ang bibilhin mo, di parin ganun kasakit sa bulsa. mas discount pa! tama ba sir JP? :lol:

It's a 5-piece, gold-plated, fusion-sized, birch DW kit.  It's birch, according to the salesperson.  It does look like birch, with the wood's light color.  And yes, I inspected the kit...  The DW trademarks are there - the Timbre-Matched seal, the stamped serial number, the round badge with the serial number and patent numbers... And I believe DW's birch drums do not have any reinforcement rings (correct me if I'm wrong).

And yes, I asked for the price.  Get ready...







Php 450,000.00.

With that price, I can buy a decent high-end drumkit, AND a decent second-hand car.  At may matitira pa akong pera...

Waaay overpriced...

I was in Park Square yesterday.  Lyric has another new DW kit on display.  It's also the real deal US-made gold-plated DW kit.  It has a dark finish (shade of green) and it comes with a matching 14" Edge snare drum.

They also have some individual PDP snare drums on display, and they're selling it at a 17-19K price range, depending on the model.  They are also selling DW 5000 pedals and DW accessories (drumkeys, clamps, etc).

The saleslady also told me that they'll be shipping in individual DW snare drums.

Meron na available na locally na single pedal sa Lyric...in case naghahanap kayo. Around 9K daw. pero hindi pa daw sila sigurado sa price hehe pero meron na nakadisplay. i'm not sure kung dati pa available pero ngayon lang ako nakakita na for sale individually (walang drums)  :mrgreen:
