Les Pauls don't make sense to me. SGs, maybe. If you add a Vibrola or a Maestro. Most of the time, I'm really not a Gibson fan. I don't like pointy guitars either.

Looks or tone-wise?

Ayoko rin masyado either way, but some hard rockers want it edgy like that.

MXR Phase 90 - I prefer the Phase 100 over it but in general I really don't dislike it, medyo mas trip ko lang talaga yung 100. Gusto ko kasi nacocontrol ko yung "form" nung sound although marami nagsasabi na 90 is better, but for me, nasa guitar player na kung pano mo mapapatunog ng maganda yun.

Tremolo systems. Nothing against it and a lot of my favorite players (Hammett, Hanneman/King, Dimebag, etc.) use it and I love listening to divebombs and all but I just don't want the added responsibility of having a guitar with a whammy bar. Besides, I personally find it more 'impressive' whenever I see a shredder ripping out a solo using a fixed bridge guitar.

Also, any guitar with all them fancy finishes, flamed maple tops and all those very 'colorful' aesthetics. A guitar with a plain black finish is much more beautiful to me.

ibanez is so much over-hyped. kung magiibanez ka mag shecter or bc rich (YES PEOPLE.. BERNIE C. RICO!!!!) ka na lang. ibanez of today except for their artist series aint good. pickups are crappy/muddy sounding (mas malupit pa stock pickups ng mga mid-cost dean e and im not a fan of dean). just bec. vai satch and gilbert plays them doesnt mean the guitars given to them is at par with the guitars na nakasabit sa mga audiophile shops. ibanez pay those guitarist huge amounts of money and as far as i know those guitarist has other collections of gibsons and strats. truth hurts doesnt it?

bridges ng iba sa tagal na di nililinis. shame on you JB Music alam nyo naman Asian maid yang mga yan ala gaanong maintenance sa guitars nagkakaroon na tuloy ng corrosion he3x

It's acquired taste, hehe. I also used to not like it as well, but now I do.

Lol. Vai "chose" ibanez. And satch was influenced by vai. Ever tried there high ends? (prestige, JCs, usa custom)
