Wendy Woo is half Filipino. Her father, Bataan Faigao, a noteworthy t'ai-chi master and poet who teaches at Naropa University in Boulder, CO, immigrated from the Philippines to New York in 1964 to attend NYU.
Wendy is Colorado's top singer/songwriter and will be performing this month in NYC. I'm a friend of hers and thought I would spread the word about her to the Filipino-American community in NY. (I lived in the Philippines myself for two years.)
