Looks like standard 3-way toggle switch. While I don't mind the enclosed type (the one on my rj guitar still hasn't failed and it gets used considerably), kung magpapalit ka, try to get good ones. Meaning, ka-ching ka-ching $$$. Kung enclosed din makukuha mo, ok lang din. I would argue that dust and dirt would find it tougher to get into those, and it's a better shielded switch. About connecting it, the two lugs grouped together are your ground. Outside lugs are from the pickups, middle lug goes to output.
