Nice upgrade.  Kamusta yung twang king?  How different is it with fenders (Standard or texas special)?

Haven't compared it with others yet. This is the first pickup I put in this guitar, and I don't think papalitan ko ito anytime soon.

the metallic red color reminded me of Gambale's guitar... now it's sort of Saraceno in blue...

nice mods man, especially the FR bridge routing.

Short review:

pigtail tailpiece - lighter than the stock gibson aluminum tailpiece, fits well the steel studs, no gap, more sustain, fuller tone.

Interesting, a good upgrade without any modification to the guitar wood.  What's the best tailpiece for you Jents?  Have you tried the Resomax by Graphtech?

Not yet man. I've tried gotoh, faber, stock gibson. Tailpiece most of the time is ignored though i have heard different tones just by changing it, lalo na yung studs.

Vintage correct studs are longer, and made of pure iron steel, not brass just like the stock from gibson, faber, or gotoh. To me the Gibson stock tp and studs already, they have this airy tone with zing. Faber comes after then gotoh. I wanted to try the RS or the Hysteric parts Area 59 though i just went with the reviews. Pigtail so far is the lightest, most accurate, and fits perfect the steel studs, no gap at all. The guitar improved, meatier tone but with clarity. Others may find this BS but this is what you get when you spend so much time trying to figure out how the guitar would sound with different modifications. I've tried some guitars which still can improve but people simply ignore them as they think effect is minimal. Oh well, kanya kanya lang.

Well, at the end of the day, you enjoy your guitar the most when you feel you have the best possible setup that resonates with you.  Gibson LPs are expensive and making them sound the best they can possibly be is worth all the mods.   I might be starting with changing the bridge pickups, then RS wiring, then will consider tailpiece, pero I have modern tastes so I might get resomax... or if you have something just lying around your drawers... let me know.  I like to buy second hand stuff ;-)

The mod with the biggest effect is... Of course...the wiring upgrade. Get that RS kit and try the 50's wiring. The guitar will sound a lot clearer.
