- Replaced neck pick up to chrome humbucker.
- Replaced bridge pick up to Artec dual rail.
- Replace original 3 way switch to 3 way toggle switch
- Replace pots to Alpha pots (both 500K)

Wiring is 2 volume knobs for each pick ups w/o tone knobs.
If we don't take action now
We settle for nothing later

^LOL Natawa ako dito Jents.

Okay. My les paul is still under the knife. I have no updates yet but she is in the good hands of Micsis.

But here are the mods (from the Les Paul Club Thread)

Tuners: stock Grovers to vintage Grovers
Bridge: stock Nashville-type to Historic ABR-1 (non-string)
Tailpiece: stock to lightweight aluminum tailpiece
Studs: stock to Historic nickel studs + faber conversion bridge studs & thumbwheel
Pickups & rings: stock rings + Dimarzio + SD '59 to Historic rings + Burstbuckers 1 and 2
Capacitors: stock to stock historic bumblebees

Update:
50's wiring
Change wires to braided wires

Other changes back then:
Changed knobs to retrospec knobs
Changed truss-rod cover to historic truss rod cover
Changed poker chip to historic poker chip
Changed switch tip to amber WD switch tip

The only "masakit sa kalooban" modification I had done to the les paul is the Faber conversion stud to ABR-1 bridge because that will involve tapping into the maple cap. Doing anything to the wood really is a bit nerve wrecking. Specially if at the back of your mind, you know somehow it affects the resale value LOL.

Pics, when the guitar gets out of the E.R.

My wrap around bridge does not have full contact. I'll do the washer mod soon.  :-D

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I want to ask if there's any local online store who sells Vintage Push Back Wire for my Fender Strat. Thanks!
