Soldering iron.

lol Okay na pala. Nung tinignan ko sa likod ng headstock, medyo nakaexpose pala yung washers. From dun, tinapat ko lang yung flat screwdriver tapos pinukpok ko na onti. Viola! Finished in less than 30 seconds. Still, thanks for the reply!

So pag bibili ako kunwari sa Mr. Quickie, sasabihin ko "EVA foam"? Kakatanggal ko lang kasi kanina sa guitar ko. Napunit ko pa nga eh. No plans of using it again, but I just kept it para alam ko anong klaseng material siya pag naghanap akong bago.

Primer - just 1 can. Sobra na yun.
Base color - 2 to 3 cans. Medyo makapal na yung pag inubos mo yung 3, considering thin coats ang ginagawa mo.
Clear coat - 1 to 2 cans will do. Sobra pa siguro.

Here's the thing about the color, the more coats or layers you spray, the darker it gets, depending on the color. For light colors, more layers = brighter. For dark colors, more layers = darker. So depende yun sa hinahabol mong kulay. For example yellow (like my project before), the more layers I spray, the brighter it gets. Mas pronounced yung pagkayellow niya, mas maganda. Ganun din kapag ibang shade naman. For example blue, mas pronounced yung pagkablue ng paint pag mas maraming layers kang ilalagay. But don't overdo it. You get the point. Hope this helps.

thanks man, you're the one i was hoping to reply, i saw your yellow RG project and it was decent, in fact it looks really good!
same din ang balak ko for my strat, YELLOW!!! i saw sa hardware and thinking of choosing the FLOURESCENT YELLOW! para nakakasilaw na yellow! ang mahal nga lang ng isang can, halos double ng isang ordinary na spray paint.

by the way, i'm loving the RG320 you sold to me, replaced the edge iii with gotoh (improve the tone a bit and abuse friendly), pero having problems with pickup change, newbie ako sa wiring... medjo frustrated DIYer ako ngayon... hehehe!

You're welcome. May project ulit kasi ako ngayon. Ibanez S naman. Onga ang mahal ng fluorescent. Nasa P300+ ata. Fluorescent pink naman kasi gagawin ko. Nung nakita ko presyo, medyo nagdalawang-isip ako lol.

Glad you're lovin' the RG320 man! Patingin naman ng bagong trem niyan! :-D

Although pwede, you should reconsider this.

A primer is a preparatory coating put on materials before painting. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted. - from Wikipedia

I'll inform you pag napost ko na sya sa Ibanez Thread, anyway, baka ituloy ko yung flurescent yellow, kahit mahal, worth it naman siguro... pano pala mag buff? easy DIY buff lang... para super glossy yung finish...

i read the thread, pero grabe, parang nahirapan ako dun sa ginawa nya, hehehe! di ko masyado naintindihan, pero anyway, good info... i need solid color so i need primer, ang hirap kasi kapalan yung paint to hide the wood design. transparent pa din ang kinalalabasan pag no primer. kahit ilang coats na.

maybe i'll do it the simpliest and easiest way, kasi papalitan ko uli ng paint pag nagsawa ako hehehe!

Literally babalutan mo ng tape after isolder together or itwist together para insulated siya. Yun lang. For insulation para hindi exposed yung wire.  :-D
