aba may plano pa atang dagdagan yung collection ng guitars ngayon

Actually, yes.. Pero I'm waiting for the right guitars, hindi basta bastang splurge.. Haha.. Di ako bumibili dati ng gitara kasi hassle sa maintenance ng strings.. Pero since may Elixir naman, ok lang kahit maraming naka tengga.. Hindi kakalawangin..

yes passive pickup, thanks chin... 8-)

Welcome bro.  :-)

imagine the stress levels shooting up when that happens

Haha. I don't want to imagine. Baka mapa suicide din ako.

The bulk of the budget for PVC guitar stand projects will lie with the number of T and L connectors.

I can't recall exactly how much (my PVC guitar stand project was several months ago), but I think you might be looking at around Php700 total for that project.

Thanks sir! Kc max budget ko for this is 1k pero as much as possible hndi ko paaabutin ng ganun cheap person din ako eh.
hehe

Will check out the PVC's on my local hardware store.

Mag post din ako ng pics once finished! yehey!

Just finished:
-no gigs this weekend, so weekend carpentry:

Result: Amplifier stand / sound enhancer for my little vypyr 15 watter. The amplifier is open backed , so I put in a back cover to throw the sound forward, adding some bottom end.

They say marami sa Raon for cheap.. Pero meron din niyan sa ACE, brand is Stanley (if I remember correctly), which goes for about 200-300/piece.. It's gold as well.

mga sir ask ko lang po, wala kasi ako makita sa search e, need to replace yung tone pot nung strat ko, nakabili naman ako 250k na pot, problem is kapag tine-test ko gamit multitester ang actual value lang nya is 200k, ok lang ba yun?

For a +/-20% tolerance pot, it qualifies... just too far from 250k, imho.

mas importante pati IMO ang taper. a 200K resistance is fairly high enough to "take out"the tone cap from the hot signal. make sure to use an audio log pot (A-taper) para mas feel mo yung sweep pag roll ng tone knob.

Questions mga masters: I have an IBANEZ PUE5 with 12ax7 tube, currently the tube is not well lit. So I bought a new one and still the new tube is not well lit. When I have the PUE5 brand new way back in the 90's the tube is well lit... Any issues on my PUE5? 8-)

Thank you in advance,
Yekoz

Maybe it's not the tube. Baka may back light yang tube mo to give it the effect it's glowing. Try to check again. Normally the tubes will not glow that much.

mga sir ask ko lang, gonna paint kasi old guitar ko (found on our basement :P )

I sanded thru its coating, hanggang wood. so bare wood nlng siya.. I applied wood filler sa mga scratches and dings.. then applied primer then sanded again with 600 grit..

aaplyan ko siya ng acrylic solid color coat (color yellow as background color, and another color for details' design  )

kelangan ko ba siya lihain ng pino (i got 1500grit sanding paper) before applying ung coat ng yellow?

and I assume more than one coat of yellow ang gagawin ko, so after i apply ung unang coat, lilihain ko ba muna siya ng pino 1500 grit (and ofcourse after an hour or two), before applying another coat ng yellow? or kahit d ko na siya lihain? at apply nlng ng second coat?

and I plan din pala na patuyuin muna ng 1 day ung yellow color, before patungan ng another color for the design (which is somekind of metallic color, may parang glitters ba, so i'm not going to sand it every after coat, baka mababoy).. do I need to sand first the yellow coat kung san ko papatungan ng another color? or pwede ipatong ko nalang dun without sanding..

salamat :)
