Sand it off tapos mga 3 drops of mighty bond.

i dont know kung napansin nyo, yun 2 legs ay pinutol ng original owner at dinikit sa baseplate, yun nasa left natanggal, what i wanted to do is  restore it back to its original state like this  connect it at 90 degree

Kung ganyan it's best you fabricate a long strip of metal then bend it to the exact curves and drill the hole. Then idikit mo siya kahit 5 drops of mighty bond along the line.

or fabricate a long strip give around 5 drops of mughty bond on the bse plate, then use the existing  ends as the 2 eras, still use mighty mond to stick the ears to the fabricated metal. You need the brace to have those ears lean on.

i think, it's better to just buy a replacement...

http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Pickup_parts/Humbucker_pickup_parts/Humbucker_Baseplate.html

+1  :-)

Kasi mahirap kung ibabalik sya na naka 90 degree yung legs, konti lang yung contact point nila.

Pwede mag cut ka ng small piece ng aluminum bar then make a brace,

one side ng aluminum bar nakadikit sa leg, the other side naka dikit sa base,

May coat yung rosewood fingerboard (i.e. clear coat, varnish)?

Or grime lang na nag-accumulate over time?

Baka madaan sa pag-scrape. I have this relatively blunt piece of cutter blade at home that I don't throw away and I use it as a scraper for cleaning rosewood fingerboards.

Paumanhin sa dami ng tanong. Baka straight answer lang ang hanap mo  :-D. 80 at 120-grit ang usual na ginagamit for working on fingerboards (radiusing, leveling) then smoothen with 220 grit up.

Pwede mo drillan ng maliit na butas.. then pasukan mo ng screw na kakagat dun sa butas.. then dahandahan mo higitin pataas kung kaya..  :-)

Ganito kasi dapat ang combination ng maroon.

If you want to deviate from the black tolex, may I suggest gray tolex or lacquered gray/black maong?

Apply heat to break the bond and avoid chipping.
