I was actually thinking of doing the reverse - transplanting a ZR on to a formerly floyded guitar. Pero mukhang mahirap nga, I've seen the trem cavities and routing, ang laki ng difference. Oh well..
ah. hehe. i'd thought of that din back when i still had a superstrat.
So what stopped you from doing so?
Kaya naman if you really want to. Kaya lang, may nabibili bang ZR trem assembly?
you can get them from Rich Harris i think (of ibanezrules.com; not Rick Harrison of pawn stars)
Posted this sa kabilang thread. Eto ba yun?https://store.ibanez.com/store/Category.aspx?s=1000017
Roughly about P15,000. Yep, that's a guitar already.
Yikes! Trem pa lang, presyong gitara na! Never mind, might as well get a guitar with the ZR trem..
ZR from rich harris is $140+http://www.ibanezrules.com/parts.htmunless you want the more expensive ZR2 which is $300. Though mas dependable and durable talaga ang ZR2..
No kid? More than half the original price sa Ibanez yan ah. Ang mura.
edited my post. hahaha!
LOL. Do it (tapos patingin)!
Very tempting talaga. Kung may tools lang ako eh (and if I can find a cheap ZR system) siguro pinag-experimentuhan ko na yung isa sa mga gitara ko. If the parts I need come up (and cheap), why not
I have one. Still thinking of selling or using it instead. Now I know its value.
