-----------

scored a shimverb sa dasma last saturday. hindi pala SRP ang bentahan, mas mahal dun. anyway, i think the spring and room reverbs are useable albeit short, while the shimmer mode does sound sintunado; the 5ths are very prominent. and the level knob doesnt function gaya ng iniisip ko: it works more like a mix control for dry and wet. kung sana tunay na level knob hindi mix.

sounds ok, pero pag mataas yung mix control pag apak mo ng engage parang humhakbang muna sya bago kumagat, unlike many other pedals na kagat agad. sort of like sinok pero di naman ganun kasama.

to add, i also tested the pitchbox. meh. for pure octave stuff pwede, but for harmony functions, olats. unlike the boss ps-5/6, there is no way to set a key para maging angkla, dehins ubra yung mga flatted 3rds sa pitchbox. i didnt bother testing the other pedals there, although parang type ko yung phaser, pero wala silang in stock.

hardware: the switch is stiff. parang matigas na may bumabara. baka dun lang sa unit ko. the guts are very ok, pinagisipan talaga. the pots are plastic. yung mini pots ok lang eh, hindi ganun kalaki yung chance na mayasak mo sila dahil nga maliit, but the big knob has a different potentiomenter, and it's plastic as well! wala ding nut. what i did was find a nut and washer from an old 1/4 input jack to secure the pot to the box kung sakaling maapakan nang di sinasadya.

I tried out a few.  I like them!

Sure some other pedals out there sound better under critical listening.  But the size of these Mooers are perfect for guitar players that need gear that's easy to lug around!  And they sound decent!  And they're affordable!

Can't wait for the rest of the line to be available at Lazer.  May ETA na ba?

Are all Mooer pedals true-bypass?

True bypass daw lahat.  Which means a board with more than 5 models will be a problem unless they make a buffer, ideally in the same 1590a format.  I hope they make a power supply also.

Ako Hustle Drive at Black Secret pa lang!  Thought about the Ana Echo but will wait for the Reecho and Echolizer to compare.  I don't know why but I can't seem to make a TS-type pedal sound nice.  =D

im putting up a bigger board to add a parallel universe mixer for modulation, para kahit i-max ko pa yung level (mix) knob nung shimverb eh hindi ako magkakaproblema sa percieved volume loss/switching "gap". me win-sta.

Mukhang matatagalan pa pasok ng ibang Mooer pedals?

Sayang, I was planning on using a few more for the Blues Competition at Roadhouse this  month.  Micro pedalboard sana!  I'll still be using the Hustle Drive and Black Secret on Saturday.

A Green Mile and an Ana Echo first then.

got the opportunity to try the ts copy and the pitch shifter, had some money to burn so kala ko bili ako isa.
kaso di ako masyado natuwa sa dalawa for my taste,
the shifter/harmonizer- don't see me having any use of this.

ok, so tested the Shimverb again last night, nilgay ko sa loop ng Parallel Universe para i get full dry signal and maxxed reverb in parallel. nope, no dice. apparently the Shimverb is a little out of phase with the original signal so having both channels at 50/50 makes engaging the reverb cut the volume and alter tone. so no, hindi pwedeng i-run ng parallel. you just have to live with it, then.
