Nah... 3 cascaded gain pedals is overkill for my needs.

Let me rephrase my question another way then... pre-supposing that both the Black Secret and Cruncher can do crunch chords well, which one is more versatile and has more to offer than just that?

ang sabi the black secret is a Rat with clipping options, while the cruncher is a crunchbox. the lack of additional EQ-shaping controls limit the overall tonality of these pedals. depende na lang men kung ano mas trip mo: compressed but cutting tone (BS) or crunchy high gain (Cruncher). the BS has switches to further change the clipping characteristic.

Green mile and cruncher imo. Since both are clones din naman ng known pedals na ginagamit ko. Mas ok sa single coils for me. Basta si cruncher lower gain si green mile onting high gain booster ika nga. Tapos volume na lang para balance sa guitar volume clean. I use bypasser para isang click lang on sila both

Ok, I finally decided to get a Black Secret...

The good news: it sounds just like my Vintage Rat.

The bad news: now I think I should have gotten the Cruncher instead....
