durability vs. quality
« Reply #100 on: March 23, 2008, 01:17:41 PM »
mga sir, gud p.m i need some advice on what brand and model of cymbal should I buy, I have a band rehearsal studio and the problem is that my cymbals don't last long.  Could you please give me some advice on what brand and model should i buy so that it will last long.  For me, durability of the cymbals is very important than the quality of sound it produce, after all it's just for practice purpose only.

thank you!!!

hope you could give me some advice

I'm not a drummer..

thanks  :-)

Try rides as crashes, kasi usually yun yung unang nasisira sa studios.:) I guess you could spring for ZBT's or B8's. OR try Staggs! Wag yung SH Thin Crashes though, for sure punit agad yan sa heavy hitters.

Also, invest in cymbal felts and sleeves para sa tubing ng stands para maiwasan ang keyholing. :-)

I stand corrected then.

Wag yung SH Thin Crashes though, for sure punit agad yan sa heavy hitters WITH bad technique.  :-D

bro try using Zildjian Z custom, It's a loud and powerful cymbal with a musical voice that cuts through in live performance. and it's also built to withstand the heavy hitting of rock's most driving bands.

basta any cymbal. walang pili kung masira then palitan. expected wear and tear ang cymbal regardless of any type. dapat may contingency plan ang owner ng studio. Rules and Regulation for studio use
