Yes are there any tips? for jazz newbies? I'm a flute player btw and i'm currently listening to Hubert Laws, Dave Valentin, Rob Christian and Chick Corea. Well at least those are the jazz artists i know for now. I'm more into seeking those milder ones yet i really have no idea where to start. Btw I also play jazz(well jazz lines/scales/anything free flow or what ever you call it. I find it really cool so yeah.) but it isn't that really good are their any ideas on how to improve it?

jam with other jazz peeps around. it widens your perspective and improves your music making ability.

Nope. Sa Tago Jazz Cafe ako madalas. Most of the days were the the featured artist had finish their set, it's open jazz jam for anyone. And sometimes, in between the set, may jam din from the audience and guest.
