un band ni paul gilbert at ni mike portnoy, hammer of the gods doin led zep! mas malinis sa PG kesa kay jimmy page!
Only true to a certain degree. I have the double CD and Paul actually kept the mistakes in, just the way you'd hear the studio releases. He did so especially in Heartbreaker. I was impressed actually that he replicated the Page-isms in the music.
You should also hear Amazing Journey, which is PG, MP, Gary Cherone and Billy Sheehan playing songs by The Who. I can't wait for a copy of this to be released soon.
There's also his Beatles tribute band, Yellow Matter Custard with PG, MP, Matt Bissonette, and Neal Morse (as mentioned in the post right before mine). Everyone in the band actually takes a turn on vocals, which was fascinating.
Then there's also perhaps the tribute band closest to Dream Theater, Cygnus and The Sea Monsters, which is PG, MP, Jason McMaster (of Dangerous Toys), and Sean Malone (of King Crimson/Gordian Knot) doing old school Rush (2112, et al). When I've got the extra funds, I'm picking this one up on CD and DVD next.
