Guys when we say " Music knows no boundaries" I think we are also talking here about freedom,since it's a form of expression. I fully agree, no questions about it. We can freely write what we want to, play it to whatever type of music we like.
But there is no such thing as "absolute freedom". Ones freedom stops when it steps over another persons freedom. Para bang may kalayaan kang mag segarilyo hanggat gusto mo pero wag kang maninigarilyo dito sa bakuran ko dahil tulad sa yo, I also have the freedom to breathe fresh air and protect my family from the ill effects of smoking.
So, if Christian rock music is acceptable in one denomination, it's okay. If one wants to listen to it, no problemo, but don't feel bad if in one church it is not acceptable.
As I said I stopped listening to it because I cannot meditate God's goodness to me anymore. The beat,the riffs keep ringing in my ears and I find it hard to pray.. This is my personal experience and it might not be true to others.
got your point...... a GOOD POINT!
pero ang pinupunto ko dun sa unang argument e ang boundlessness ng music.
walang mag lilimita sayong tao,
nagbigay ka sample about smoking, I salute you for that, pero wag kakalimutan na ang RELIGION din ay hindi para sa lahat.
pero kung pag uusapan e self expression. (well excuse me di ako ganun ka kristyano)
punto ko lang naman, if I was given the gift of heavy metal music by the Supreme Being, bakit di ko yun gamitin to worship Him?
bakit kailangang limitahin ang GIFT na alam nating boundless?
anyways--->
