hey man!!!

sad to say... wala kang makukuhang datung sa pagtugtog sa prod...

but... you'll gain friends and experience to peform...

keep on rockin' man
an eye for an eye

pwede mong gawing foundation ang mga prod GIGS
para makilala at sumikat.
by the time na sikat na kayo, di na prod gig ang kakantahan nyo kundi paid GIGS na.
pero sa prod gigs, matamlay ang pera jan para sa banda.
try mo kayang kalabitin baka tumunog...

When you are just getting started to build your music career some level and think you need to:
- get your name out there,
- get in front of the right people,
- make connections,
- just get your foot in the door,
- get someone to give you your big break,
- just keep trying harder,
- be younger,
- go broke to succeed, or
- risk everything to become successful   :-D

Bands earn from airplay, gigs, show appearances, sponsors, etc.
Joining a production is just a step for you to get to that level.

Wag nyo muna isipin kung pagkaka-kitaan ba ang pagba-banda. It'll sway you away from your music.

if you're all into this for the money, you definitely won't last very long, lalo na sa pinas. for most of us here, music is more of a serious hobby -- mas pinagkakagastusan pa siya kesa pinagkakakitaan. since this was posted in the rock forum, i assume that your group is a rock/alternative/indie band, or something like that. swertehan lang talaga na maging financially rewarding ang pagbabanda sa ganitong genre.

but if you really want to earn from gigs, why not learn some pop songs and make a showband project on the side? pwede kayong kunin sa private events like weddings and company parties. focus on timeless songs. learning genres or songs outside of your comfort zone can also be beneficial for your development as individual musicians and as a cohesive rhythm section.

If you want to earn money being a musician...it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll!
1) Make sure the band can play anything from Sinatra to Metallica with equal conviction and skill.
2) Make sure you are using professional equipment - it need not be expensive but you can't get a good sound out of Raon gear
3) Your band must have the usual pre-requisites - a keyboardist, a female singer much like Freestyle
4) Rehearse...hard. That is the work. Getting gigs is the reward of your effort (rehearsals)
5) Make a professional profile/porfolio to present to bars and potential agents and managers
6) Remember that you start by playing covers first. If deciding to concentrate on a particular genre (i.e. Classic Rock) then you should know everything about that music from the songs to the artist.
7) Must be flexible, must entertain requests, be ready to play that is not in the repertoire (not necessarily play the song all the way through but a verse and a chorus will suffice).
8) Consider working abroad. It can be worthwhile endeavor.

That is the usual way to make money being a musician. If you want on the onset to be a recording artist but not learning the ropes, then to make money will be very difficult. Band business is a shark infested water.

dapat pare pareho mindset ninyo sa group, it should always be a teamwork, dapat iisa ang direction na gusto nyo puntahan.
Tapos compose kayo ng songs with melodic tunes tapos salpakan mo ng gwapo o magandang member, ayos, sell out  hehehe :D
