Para sa akin ok lng yun MIC squire. As long as you like it an played with it a lot. Choose wisely may MIC na di ganun kaganda quality.
Tama si sir juwanfidel pwede mo din ipasetup pra customized. Don't be like those people who buy guitars for fashion. Pamahalan ng presyo at pagandan lang ng brand na gitara. Wala na yung pinakaessence ng paggigitara, practice your chops, learn chord patterns and practicing scales. Yun naman ang pinakadahilan kaya ka nagigitara which is to play music. It doesn't matter what you have what matters is what you do with it.
Kung kaya mong magipon ng matagal you can also buy an expensive guitar. Its your decision din naman sa bandang huli. Just dont forget what matters most and that's playing music. Don't also forget you need a good amp and a few effects.
or what you can do is buy a MIC guitar first try it and after a few months when your ears mature and you want to try a different sound sell it and buy a MII,MIK, MIJ or even a MIA or just change your pickups.
I have a SX tele guitar MIC although modified. I have a tone battle with a MIA Fender Strat from a friend of mine. My guitar sound got a lot of compliments rather than the other one. Tone is in the fingers.
