in my case, amp picky sya.. muddy most of the time. may sweet spot, pero yun na yun. sobra bass. hindi ko din nagustuhan ang mid range nya, pag lumagpas ka ng 9 o'clock sabog na. hindi din ganun kaganda ang cleanup nya sa vol.knob. siguro hindi lang sya para sakin.. pinnacle naman gusto ko masubukan.
Yun nga di nagustuhan ni mart dito . I've read mixed reviews as well but somehow i thought i liked it when i watched some of the demos so i went ahead and got it from him at a great price( hehe presyong kaibigan!)
But when i got home and tried it .... I didn't like it . Parang natapangan ako sobra.
Pero my gut feeling was to stick with it a while for some reason. Usually i immediately put on sale things that i don't like.
But after a few weeks of putting it through it's paces it sort of grew on me. I started hearing the clarity beneath the thick bass. I started to love it's unique grinding tone. I also noticed how touch sensitive it was and how much detail it gave me . So much so that i know find the shredhead a bit muddy and not as dynamic and as touch sensitive as this was.
So yeah it's an acquired taste for me. I hated it at first. But now i love it.
And the boost function is great for solos especially if you have another guitar player in the band!
