ngayon lang ako nagkarong ng xotic.
di ko akalaing maganda pala quality ng build nito.
di sya mukha at feel na mumurahin pero mura lang yung pedal talaga at 124usd

My board set up 3 days ago.



I now use a BB Pre amp for bass instead of the RC Booster. Did you know that it sounds like a fender bassman if you use it for guitar? :) I've tried it and it sounds great. I'll post clips soon :)

pero 1st impression ko is too
bright ung SL mode. ganda yung SB mode.
at sensitive sya sa volume controls ng guitar. just like an amp.
gawa ko ng comparison video between 2 modes sa holiday

IMO, lahat naman ng pedal nagtutunog maganda sa demo ng mga retailers.
mas gusto ko mga demo ng actual users. or demo ni gearmandude

Gusto ko marinig yung consistency ng tunog ng pedal sa iba't-ibang rigs eh.. Parang yung DLS MK III, halos lahat ng narinig kong demos niya sa youtube, magkakalapit lang talaga tunog, hindi drastic yung difference kahit magkakaibang rig..

Pero syempre, iba pa rin talaga pag yung first hand..  :-)

Happy holiday! Bantayan ko nga yang demo/comparisson na yan... mukhang interesante ang Super Bass mode.

Alam kong napakabait na tao ni tongski. Busilak ang puso at punong-puno ng kabutihan at malasakit. Tig isa talaga tayo dun sa dalawang SL Drive na binili niya. Tinetest lang niya yung working condition bago ipadala satin.  :-)

I enjoy my Xotic BB Preamp MD pedal. Very very creamy fusioneque tone anytime!!!!

The pedal gets engaged at 1:20 in the video.

What would be the ideal Xotic pedal for me if I want a booster to raise my solos a couple of decibels to cut through the mix?  I intent to use the booster with the gain channel of my amp and an OD pedal.  I will also get a delay, chorus and wah for this particular rig.  Thanks all!  :)

RC Booster at the effects loop of the amp..
Gain set at zero, EQ adjusted to taste (or leave at 12 o'clock), and volume set accordingly.

It would act as a post dirt clean booster or volume booster.

I'm using the amp's drive channel. May BB Preamp ako sa front. Tapos assuming na ok na ako sa EQ setting nung amp at volume push lang talaga kailangan para mag cut sa mix, yung RC Booster ko nasa effects loop.  :-)

RC in front = Light overdrive, adds a bit of gain/sparkle to the sound.
RC post dirt or effects loop = Acts somehow as a volume boost, with an EQ. Retains the tone.  :-)

Exactly what Cayle said.

Pag kasi pre-dirt mo siya ilalagay, dependent yung "volume" mo dun sa last na may volume control sa chain mo. In your case, yung volume ng amp. Baka hindi maging masyadong effective. Or kung added gain boost naman, since light gain lang talaga dinadagdag niya, mejo magiging negligible yung gain increase kung masyado nanag mataas ganin nung amp.

Yung amp ko may built-in volume boost din (foot-switchable) and I think sa intrnal signal path ng amp ko, last din na dadaanan yung volume boost circuit.  :-)
