Quick Question.. whats the difference between the different kind of neck shapes on a strat? (C-shape, V-shape, U-shape, etc) And what do you guys mean by having a soft shape neck?

Also, i kinda wish Fender custom shop has a branch here, I want a maple fretboard in place of my rosewood!  :lol:

An early birthday gift from my wonderful wife. she's a beauty (my wife and the strat) and she play's like butter. :mrgreen:

I haven't played a lot of strat but i have to say that the 12" fingerboard and the compunded neck radius of the EJ strat plays wonderfully. it's practically a shred guitars neck with strat mojo.

i love it! i wasn't planning on buying it yet (i was planning on getting one in HK where they're helluva lot cheaper) but when i played it i knew i had to take her home.



my wife agreed for me to have it in the condition that i won't have any GAS for three years (heck she practically had me sign a contract) so that means no more pedals for me.hehehe :-D

i doesn't matter though. she sounds great with or without pedals! :mrgreen:

i'm seriously thinking of having it relic'ed.HAHAHA :-D

just kidding! it's my only guitar that goes back to its hardcase after i play it.

it really is a piece of work. every thing will remain stock except maybe the strap button. i'll be replacing it with schaller straplocks to make sure nothing untoward happens. :wink:

ngayon pa lang ako gumamit ng strat. normal ba na nagha-hum yung gitara kapag nakakabit sa distortion o kapag naka-on ang dist ng amp? di naman gaano kalakas pero noticeable. ganun ba talaga kapag single coils? thanks.
