Specific Details:
Kritiko is the first pinoy rock band that my production is trying to produce as an online project. Kritiko is about patriotism, ethnic compounds, and cultural accomplishment that the Filipinos are now forgetting. Also, the theme of this band is about political angst, social norms and sheer brutality of our so called Pinoy life nowadays.
This is a one time opportunity for us Artists to produce something that is of our flavor and also our chance to abuse the capabilities of the internet as we speak. It is our goal to get the Filipino musicians connected online in order for a seamless and comfortable working environment. Provided that you have the necessary tools to record your takes (it does not matter whether you record on a tape deck) for as long as you can record and you have the talent to be part of an online band then this is your chance.
Requirements:
1. 16-25 yrs old Musician that can ROCK! FEMALE or MALE, (pianist, strings, electronic musicians also accepted!)
2. can provide a youtube link for portfolioing. (pictures that can determine that you ROCK)
3. has capabilities to record own tracks
4. has the ability to go out for gigs and concerts.
5. immersed in music and open to all criticism.

Contract:
If you are chosen to be part of Kritiko band. Then you are eligible to get signed as a "part-time" recording artist. As a part time recording artist, you will get paid to record the tracks for around 500-1000 php depending on the quality of your stuff.
So if a song consists of 4 artists (vocalist, bassist, drummer, guitarist). Then each of them will get paid the same amount.
Simply put it this way, you record, we pay. That is it.
If we have an upcoming gig then, if you are willing to play, together with the other members, then we will arrange certain topics such as transport and accomodation (But that is a long way to go.)
But all we have to do now is record and see if the project would be a success or fail.
Production:
We are also looking for certain people that has the ability to market our music online.
That includes:
Sound Engineers. Graphic artist, Video editors
It does not matter whether you are home based or has an educational background. We are looking for talents not papers. People who are skilled and can produce quality stuff for our bands.
As of now, we are currently based here in Australia and what we did find is the lack of local angst music. We may cater for other genres as well but that is a bit different ball game for us as we are starting out.
