Saw Jeff's pick container on my FB feed..and I thought this could make an interesting thread...back at the pedalboard thread..you see a lot of ALTOID Pick containers on Pedalboards.. theres this other brand that has cool containers similar to altoids..called RIO Mints..its perfect to store a bunch of guitar pics..but I feel, for Pedalboards its best to have those pick shaped pick holders-clips and store 1 or 2 picks..this allows faster and easier access to a new pick if you drop it while playing a gig...it would be a hassle if you bend down and open you altoid pick canister and finger through a bunch of picks...

Back home I keep them in some drawstring pouch...heres mine...

its a wedding giveaway that contained some candy...thought itd be cool to keep my pics in it...check it out...post din kayo!

I usually get irritated when I lose the pick I'm currently using. At that time, I was using a dunlop pick and misplaced it. I don't know exactly what's the type though. I was going loco looking for it here and there in my room and in the end, just decided to go to sleep. I turned off the light and suddenly I saw something is glowing on the table top. I went to see what's that glowing thing. Alas! I found the pick I was looking for. Then I discovered that that pick was a glow-in-the-dark one!

marami akong canisters para sa pick haha kaya lang nasa bulacan, wala akong picks, dunlop pick holder pa rin for pedalboards, pero cute nga tingnan yung altoids, meron din akong isa na parang altoids, nakalimutan ko lang yung brand, hahaha

aside from dunlop pick holder na naka dikit sa local made-PSU.,

ito ang sisidlan ng mga picks na hindi ko nagagamit.

Ito lagayan ko ng extra picks bukod dun sa Dunlop pickholder na nakakabit sa likod ng headstock ng guitars ko

So that I'll never forget my picks:

Keychain/pouch from V-Picks. It can hold my Primetone Jazz Pointed (3mm), V-Pick Diamond (4.1mm) and Dunlop Ultex (1.0mm) quite well.

My ex-girlfriend bought the wooden box for me. I don't remember when and where exactly. I still have one of the very first picks I bought 22 years ago among the pile. I make it a point to buy at least a few picks wherever country I go and they're in the pile, as well.

The Mono wallet I bought last Friday in Singapore. Ironically, I forgot to buy actual picks in that last trip.

vintage wooden boxes loook sweet...

suddenly while eating merienda this afternoon..I remembered I had this little wooden box when I was a kid where I kept my old picks and other interesting trinkets..it was a xmas gift to me by my two younger brothers waaaay back...I totally forgot about it till I saw this wooden box..hahaha put a nice warm smile on my face..

the same with a guy i bought a guitar from..I went to his house and it was a f*cking mess...picks, wires scattered everywhere..take out food cartons..clothes..it was a total pig sty..but he had this HUGE flat screen TV ..and he would just play video games all day..he was even selling the flatscrreen for cheaps..but I dont need it...he probably left it...lucky land lord.. I wanted to scavenge some of his picks and stuff though.. he gave me a copy of his CD..he tried to make it here and around asia as a musician writing original material..but it didnt work out...

Here's my share, though I have altoids tins, and vermints etc... too this one is my latest, a bit big.
Nag-cocollect talaga ako ng tin and started lang this year will post my collection of tins.
FYI: these aren't ALL my picks, mga kelangan ko lang ito at back-ups per type, though they are all mostly JAZZ type picks, kasi yung lang talaga sumakto sa kamay ko. And i love dunlop JAZZ 3s. panalo!!!
