Resurrecting.
This time, we're looking for a bassist for a post rock/math rock band. I envision this project to mostly play instrumentals, but with a few songs with vocals as well. (I'm a vocalist first, after all.) More or less pegs are:
- te'
- russian circles
- long distance calling
- naive
- and so i watch you from afar
Songs would be mostly upbeat, at times heavy, light to dark themes, full of dynamics and melodies. If you're familiar with the bands listed above, it's not about virtuoso solos. We need someone who knows how to complement the rest of the parts, even if it means active restraint.
The candidate should be VERY active in helping with songwriting, someone who is open to both receiving and giving constructive criticism, and definitely someone who can get along very well with us. The bassist and drummer from my current band are joining me in this one.
Practice area can vary from Pasig/Ortigas to Paranaque (and anywhere in between).
