Duhhh... ang directbox, ginagamit lang pag ang input ng pagsasaksakan mong mixer or soundcard, or amplifier, eh yung 3-pin XLR connector, aka cannon connector, aka balanced connector. This is becoz your guitar output has only 2 terminals, the 1. signal, and the 2. ground. The direct box converts this to 3... namely, 1. positive(+) signal, 2. negative(-) signal, and 3. ground. Mas malinis and mas malakas ang gain pag ganito ang setup, but still, it does NOT assure you of a better sounding guitar sa recording. Recording a good guitar sound would rely on HOW your guitar setup sounds like when you play it live, whether by miking a guitar amp, or by using a multi-fx pedal WITH A BUILT-IN ampsimulator.
