Sino sa inyo naka-experience na mag-upgrade ng parts ng gitara nyo na imbes gumanda ang tunog eh lalo pumangit?

Dimarzio Tonezone: Gawd I hate this pickup. Naka-tatlong attempts na ata akong mag-upgrade sa Tonezone pero hindi ko masikmura yung nasal, hi-mid honky tone.

Callaham Vintage Strat Tremolo: Nagpasalin salin na itong tremolo na to sa tatlo kong American Stratocaster pero hindi parin ako masanay sa tunog kahit anong pickup combinations. Ice picky ang tunog lalo na sa Fender amps.

Tone Pros ABR-1 : Sabi nga "If it's not broke, do not fix it". Recently nag purchase ako aluminum stoptail at locking ABR-1 for my LP Trad. After install nagtunog bubuyog yung gitara. I had the ABR-1 removed and kept the aluminum stoptail. I'm still considering kung ibabalik ko yung original na stop tail, honeymoon period muna. Nabawasan kasi yung bass nung LP ko with the new stoptail.

I remember I sold my lovely 62ri to buy this gibson sg special, the gibson is crap.. too muddy for me

, also bought a gibson les paul studio faded with similar results, now i stay away from an all mahogany body with 490s.

I had the Tone Zone 10 years (or so) ago and I didn't / never like it...it turned out na kelangan mo pala ng high-end Amp and whatnot to get the most out of it....That pick-up is overrated as hell. But I could be wrong though, I tried Basswood and Mahogany with it and Neither worked for me.

Tremol-no - Nifty device. I have it on 3 of my super strats. Ang problema ko nawawala na yung mga thumb screws. Bumili ako ng replacement thumbscrews pero nawala rin nung dinala ko sa jamming. Gusto ko i-masking tape para hindi na mahulog uli which defeats the purpose of this device.

haha, eto rin yung pananaw ko. Bakit mag UPGRADE ng parts kung makakabili ka ng gitara. Lol

For me, it's guitar strings. Never bonded with newer coated strings, doesn't even sound as good as everyone claims.

I think Tone Zone works best with bright or high gain amps. I agree that it is nasally which is what it's supposed to do, rolled off tone knob tone.

but i understand you, i was once a hot blooded dude who thought everything with 24 frets
and a floyd rose was a LEAD guitar, shunned anything with fixed bridges and fewer than 22 frets!

I definitely can relate to this!

Tingin ko sa mga naka fixed bridge dati ay para sa mga matatatandang mabagal tumugtog hahahaha

Now times have changed, I'm in the process of disposing all of my Floyd Rose-equipped guitars because I cannot stand the hassle of its nature...dati sabi ko sa sarili ko ''Worth it naman, kasi mas versatile'' ...... haha ngayon suko na, kinakalawang na nga dahil nakakatamad mag-tono at magpalit ng strings

Bad trip nga whenever that happens but I think that should be classified as more of a "hassle" than a "downgrade".

Obvious ba na fan ako nyan?

Boutique ABR-1 with brass saddles for my dark sounding LP. Made it sound a tad more darker. Eventually put back the old ABR-1 and placed some stainless steel saddles to compensate for the dark sound.
