Hi guys!

Di ko na alam kung saan pa magtatanong kaya dito na lang baka may makasagot sakin.

I have this skin condition, some really bad scaling that looks ugly AF. Pumupunta ako sa mga derma, minsan yung derma sa ospital pa.
Naiinis kasi ako pag magcoconsult ako titingnan lang ng literal 5 seconds tapos wala pa akong sinasabi kahit man lang history or symptoms kahit nga pangalan ko eh, nireresetahan na ako. Sa unang dalawang derma na kinonsulta ko mali yung binigay (malamang, saglit na tingin lang eh) so yung pangatlo yung nakatama, pero temporary lang tapos bumalik ulit.

Recently pumunta ako sa Medical City pa, tapos since may health card naman ako may binigay sakin na pangalan, so punta naman ako, thinking na oy eto health card na to tapos resident sa TMC, siguro legit na to.

Medyo matagal naman yung tingin nya para sa derma mga 1 minute naman, tapos biglang sabi, kelangan injectionan to, 1.5K isang shot, mga lima kailangan. Tapos Cetirizine daw, sa clinic lang daw nya available. Tapos biglang binigyan ako ng request for allergy testing. and while all this is happening, nagkukuwento ako ng history ng ailment ko tapos for every detail nag-iiba yung diagnosis nya, pero hindi naman nag-iiba yung treatment.

1. di mo alam yung kwento tapos paiinjectionan mo, baliw ka ba?
2. sasabihin mo yung Cetirizine sa clinic mo lang available? eh umaapaw ng Cetirizine ang Mercury Drug!
3. bakit ka magrerecommend ng treatment for allergy (Cetirizine is an antihistamine) kung di mo pa nga alam kung allergy kasi kakasulat mo pa lang ng request for testing!

sawang sawa na ako sa mga halatang namemera lang na derma, kailangan ko ng TUNAY NA DOKTOR na may specialization sa pinakamalaking organ sa katawan ng tao.

Same experience bro. Pinatingin ko si misis sa derma sa Healthway Clinic dito sa Alabang Town Center. Dami niya rashes sa buong katawan na nakakaakot para kasing tigdas. So ayun nagpacheck kami sa dermatologist.

P*cha talaga ang nakalagay sa medical cert. nya "Itchiness". Ano ang reseta? 1k worth of "medicinal" products na galing sa clinic nya. Meron syang sariling derma products na parang nilabelan lang ng sarili nyang pangalan na tinayp sa MS Word tas pinrint sa pipichugin na sticker paper. Ni wala ngang ingredients or something na patunay na dumaan sa BFAD. Ano yung products? Sabon, lotion, at somthing na pinapahid sa muka na parang eskinol. Tingin ko di pa nga dapat umabot ng P100 products nya. P*cha talaga... Rip off!

Kaya nga pag derma wala akong dalang cash lagi. At sa tingin ko halos lahat ng derma may ganun, yung mg sariling gawa na gamot. Sa totoo lang, yung mga ganun, mura naman talaga. Pero kadalasan di yun ang kailangan mo. Yung pangatlong derma na nabanggit ko, ang nireseta nya sakin, gamot na over the counter sa drug store, at sinabi nya na mali yung unang dalawang derma kasi irritant sakin yung substance na nasa ointment nila. Yung gamot na yun nakatulong sa isang skin ailment ko pero hindi itong natira kaya ok lang sya sakin, pero of course gusto ko ng ibang opinion.

Ang totoong badtrip yung pipilitin ka nila na bumili ng pills/tablets sa clinic nila. ang style pa nyan sa iba yung billing nila sa front desk kung saan andun din yung shelf ng gamot. titingnan nila yung reseta (wow diba kahit consultation lang alam nang may nireseta) at yun yung "basis" nila sa consulation mo. the next thing you know pati yung gamot naka-bill na sayo kaht di mo naman sinabi.

so sa may mga kilala dyan na doctor-like derma please lang post naman kayo dito

ayoko picturan kasi ewww, pero kung nakakita ka na ng kalbo na binalakubak, parang ganun pero hindi sya nalalagas at sa small areas lang. pa-PM na lang sir salamat sa tulong!

Nako need mo nga attention.. Bakit cetirizine?? Dpat steroid ka na nyan.. Anyway, ayon lng sa mga kakilala ko na may psoriasis. Ako bro my skin ashtma lvl 99. Haha pro pinagstop na ko ng medication. Herbal na ko. Mas ok, mtagal ang response ng katawan pro mas mgaan dalhin kesa meds. Opinion lng un ah. Anyway, pm kita sino doctor ko.. Hope makatulong ako.

seeee! pero actually puro steroidal ointments na binigay sakin. yung unang dalawa clobetasol at isa pang clobetasol mix. yung pangatlo na medyo matino, Triderm, yung pang-apat ewan ko dun injection at cetirizine ang gusto

to be fair it "goes away" (no flaky look, tapos "smooth" na parang shiny kalyo ang dating) on a monthly basis after ng steroid treatment. but then di dapat sunod-sunod at for two weeks lang max dapat, so ngayon wala na ulit, at forever na sya may scaly appearance ever since. ang ginagawa ko na nga lang maglagay ng petroleum jelly para ma-mask yung scaliness. it hides the appearance for a good 3-6 hours.

OT: ano po ba ang skin asthma at ano ang nangyayari?

Full na pala message ko!! Sorry haha clobetasol kasi is a corticosteroid. Topical sterois kumabaga. Yan din gamit ko bro. I-try mo ung legit na virgin coconut oil. 3x a day. Haha no therapeautic claims pro sa akin at sa mom ko kumikinis sya and still using it. Ang pangit kasi sa steroid bababa immune system mo.. Huhu 6mos ako nagsteroid. Kung san ka mas malapit bro. Pareho yan ok..

i have these KP (Keratos Pellaris)
my derma told me to buy some of his products to lessen and eventually removed all the marks of it..

Soap, Lotion, some kind of alcohol, 2 kinds of cream for 2 different purposes,

grabe nagmukha akong maarte sa balat, and nkktamad since never ko ginawa ang mag apply ng ganun,.
since advice ni ermats (dahil may case din kapatid ko) ginawa ko din,.

nakuhang naubos nung products na binenta saken, humupa lang pero di nawala,,.

is that considered "di namemera"?

oo sa tingin ko kasi may soap. madalang yung medicated soap, usually yung mga hypoallrgenic na soap ang ginagawa nila. Pero meron yan sa supermarket at ibang beauty stores.

yung derma ng kapatid ko ang talagang ginagawanya pang cosmetics lang talaga, pero ano binibigay, mga specific branded products na wala sa mga cabinet nya. yun ang totoo.

sa tingin ko ang totoong derma na nagbebenta ng sarili nyang meds at soaps and concoctions eh yung pag may skin "disease" ka ipaapbili ka sa drug store, pero pag "problem (cosmetic)" lang, bebentahan ka ng sariling gawa kasi mas mura at madaling hanapin. pero pag may disease ka tapos pinabili ka sa cabinet nya, be wary,lalo na pag may pills or oral solutions na naka stock. ER nga minsan nagpapabili pa sa botika sa labas eh, bat yung derma parang bala ang gamot?

not sure if Clinica Manila in Megamall still operates pero ok may tiwala naman ako sa derma nila.

had my scalp checked 3 years ago and she confirmed that i was suffering from alopecia areata - a condition which makes a certain portion of your scalp go completely bald. and it was really bald like shiny, Bembol Roco bald. buti daw pinatignan ko kaagad para maagapan.

she then recommend that i take biotin supplements muna and cut down on the stressful activities(work, etc.) tapos pinabili ako sa Healthy Options ng isang bote ng biotin capsules. she said that if i dont see any improvements after 2 months, bumalik ako sa kanya and she will inject something directly to the affected area.

umigi naman after 1 month. baby hairs started to grow and they eventually turned to real, grown up hairs. simpleng solution before the costly remedy.

yun lang, nakalimutan ko na name nya.

kung magpapatingin ka sa dermatologist siguraduhin mo member sila philippine dermatological society.

si bello is not a member dahil nag aral sya sa thailand ng residency afaik pero dito sya sa pinas nag aral mag medicine.

prublema ko dermatitis me allergic reaction ako sa elastic band ng underwear briefs nag kakaroon ako rash sa waist so boxer shorts sinusuot ko.

yun din prublema sa sister ko lahi ata namin.

mas psoriasis sya more than eczema
no rhinitis, and there is no flareup, it's just always there, nagffade lang yung look pag mas supple yung skin (skin oils, lotion, whatever that moisturizes) most apparent sya pag bagong ligo dahil dry skin. I like oatmeal soap pero kinakati ako

Kung naiirita ka sir sa mga ginagamit mo na soap o lotion stop mo muna. Baka lalo ka mapaano.
Trial and error talaga paghanap ng specialist. Pero ito mas sure ako, moisturizing soap at mild dapat.
I-try nyo ung ginagamit ko, sobrang nakatulong siya sa akin.
Nivea na color green na soap at eczekleenMB sa mercury drug. Kasi kapag ganyang case na super sensitivity na ng balat.

although yung problem areas ko ganyan na yan and the appearance only got worse in time. nung college pa ako nyan 2008! yung ibang skin problems ko nawawala naman parang normal na tao. pero yun ang main concern ko, 7 years na at sa kamay so nakakahiya baka akala ng mga tao nakakahawa sya (di naman, whatever it should be) at of course mandidiri sila and you can't explain that naman diba. so conceal as much, petroleoum jelly before meeting people para ma-mask yung flaking

pre, you don't want psoriasis. your skin gets thick because of dead skin cells/flakes, now imagine that happening to your eyes... ganun katindi ang psoriasis.

baka naman some kind of chronic rash yan. utol ko meron, secondary to tattoo ink. she got the rash years after getting the tattoo. somehow, yung ink lumagpas/nag-seep in sa deeper layers (subcutaneous?).

bukod sa weather/humidity changes, stress can definitely also cause weird things to your skin. so chillax lang pag may time. best of luck!

Punta ka generics pharmacy. sabihin mo BL cream. Lam na nila yun. I've had dry spots before, ngayon meron ako sa talukap ng mata. Gumagaling naman sya. Kaya lang bumabalik pag kumakain ako ng malalansa. Lintek kasi yung binagoongan na baboy ng nanay ko. Napakasarap.
